This week’s episodes is one of my favorites, featuring two discussions that are fun, informative, and thought provoking. It also features my first ever crossover episode, featuring other podcasters in a joint effort.

First though, a note on my recording schedule. With the advent of summer and the kids out of school, I’m finding the demands on my time at an all time high. I will continue to attempt a weekly show schedule, and starting this week, episodes will be released on Thursdays.

SO.

This week’s first guest is another blogger friend of mine. We go way back, so we have a lot to talk about. Kemberlee Kaye is the Senior Contributing Editor of Legal Insurrection. We discuss the false racism charges that led to an $11 million fine against Oberlin College after a libel lawsuit, the newly formed Legal Insurrection Foundation to combat against the false information propagated by intersectionality and anti-zionist activists, and what President Trump has done to turn her from an enthusiastic opponent in the primary to an enthusiastic supporter of his reelection. You can find Kemberlee’s work at legalinsurrection.com, and she’s on Twitter at twitter.com/kemberleekaye.

Kemberlee also joined me for a BONUS segment for our Patreon subscribers. This is exclusive content only available to the paid subscribers to Behind the Curtain on Patreon. In this bonus segment, we continued our great conversation by talking about Jussie Smollett, Justin Amash, and what Republicans do right on messaging – and what they do pathetically wrong. Sign up as a patron at patreon.com/BehindTheCurtainWithJeffReynolds.

My local guests this week are James Ball and Nick Prelosky. These guys are not only local Republican precinct committeepeople from Multnomah County, but they also host The Rational Republican Podcast. They describe the podcast as promoting individual liberty and conservative principles while rejecting hatred and divisiveness. This episode was a cool concept where we began our discussion for a segment on their podcast – discussing our differences over the forced child vaccination bill that Oregon floated in this past legislative session – and ending with this segment on Behind the Curtain talking about how Republicans can create messages that win hearts and minds in Oregon. We go in depth on this topic, and a few fireworks fly. Great discussion! You can find the Rational Republican podcast on all major podcast services, and on social media by searching State over Party. You can also check them out at their website, jamesaball.com.

Quick note about my book. I’m currently planning an east coast trip in the fall to speak at my alma mater, Connecticut College, and their college republican club. I’m excited to return after many years and confront the liberal campus culture with real facts about who owns the Professional Left in America. If you know of any conservative clubs, Republican groups, Tea Party or 912 clubs, or anyone else who would get something out of following the dark money on the Left, please email me at info@5440fight.com. Search for Behind the Curtain: Inside the Network of Progressive Billionaires and their Campaign to Undermine Democracy in stores, or online at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or Simon and Schuster. It’s available in hardback, Kindle, or Nook Now. Check out WhoOwnsTheDems.com for more information.
