Tony came back on the pod to talk about the upcoming election where he is running for re-election as the District 6 HRM Town Councilor. We talked about what has changed for him since he became a councilor in 2016. The topics we touched on involved some of the local issues such as the housing crisis and homelessness, what HRM and the province are doing and what the various levels of governments responsibilities are when it comes to matters such as this.
We touched on the proposed rehab center (AlCare Place Addiction Rehab Centre moving into the Keystone area) scheduled to set up and discussed local people's concerns around that project.
Tony is a person who is really empathetic to the people in his community and his efforts to help the people within our communities thrive are really comendable. Thanks for coming back again, Tony and good luck with the upcoming election!
