Welcome to the Altbays Table Talk (Feat. Rebecca Smith and Leo Magri)
Eloise Green is the creative force behind Matilda the Time Travelling Fairy. Originally from South Africa, Eloise moved to New Zealand in 2009, where she now resides in the beautiful Whitianga.
A dedicated mother to two daughters, Eloise's creativity extends to her family, with both daughters actively involved in her various ventures. From running Halloween events with a whopping 322 children to creating intricate costumes for cosplay, Eloise's artistic spirit knows no bounds.
Her journey into the world of Steampunk led to the creation of Baroness Evaine Morgana Blackwood, and she even started a Steampunk group in Whitianga called The Endeavours Assemblage. Eloise's passion for Steampunk extends to organizing meet-ups, events, and attending festivals like The Thames Steampunk Festival.
In 2017, Eloise embraced her role as Matilda the Time Travelling Fairy, providing children's entertainment and spreading joy with crafts and face painting. Her creativity also extends to Simply Whimsical Crafts, a family endeavor selling handmade crafts at markets.
Eloise is bringing magic to Whitianga with her event, "Fairies, Pirates, and Princesses Picnic in the Park" on January 14th.
Beyond her magical pursuits, Eloise manages Hocus Pocus Cleaning. Her unexpected journey has turned her into a sought-after drawcard for events, booked a year in advance, leaving Eloise feeling incredibly blessed.
