The Daily Journey of Our Recycling
Manage episode 336357357 series 3225218
The blue cart at your curb is one of thousands picked up daily in Airdrie as glass, plastic, paper and cardboard make their way to becoming something new again.
But how?
Wayne Meredith, a residential truck driver from GFL Environmental Inc., Craig Lee, operations supervisor with Cascades Recovery+, and Tracy Pagenhardt, program coordinator for the City of Airdrie, are some of the hundreds of people involved in the daily path of our recycling. We follow them on a sunny day in June 2019.
This the airdrielife podcast. Here we take you beyond the pages of airdrielife magazine.
Our goal is to share stories with locals in and around Airdrie about extraordinary people who call this city home. We meet all kinds of fun, interesting people we get to write about. This podcast is an exclusive opportunity where you too can learn more about your fantastic neighbours.
