03 Prime Video Top 5, Fatal Seduction, Spud
Manage episode 372009830 series 3494603
Sex, sex, sex, and… Spud.
Top 5
Our Top 5 for this episode is from Prime Video and they are, in no particular order…
- Proof of Payment with my favourite actor Thabo Malema and Mandla Gaduka who used to play “Chopper” on Generations. Yep, that’s how old I am.
- The Underground Railroad with Thuso Mbedu. The episodes are extremely long but I suggest watching it as a marathon otherwise you won’t get back to it. Make sure you watch with your significant other. This one needs team effort.
- Kleva’ish. This one is also on eVOD, eTV’s streaming platform. A feel-good story about a goodie-two-shoes who loses his girlfriend to a skinny grootman.
- AIR is the story of Nike and Michael Jordan.
- Knuckle City. An aging, womanizing professional boxer and his career-criminal brother take one last shot at success and get more than they've bargained for.
Main Review
In Fatal Seduction a married woman goes on a dangerous weekend trip away from home that sparks desire but ends tragically, making her wonder if the people close to her are telling the truth.
Gino's Golden Oldie
It's South Africa 1990. Two major events are about to happen: The release of Nelson Mandela and, more importantly, it's Spud Milton's first year at an elite boys only private boarding school. The Spud 1, 2 and 3 trilogy follows Spud from his first days at his new school through to his teenage years, his first heartbreak, and dealing with his parents divorce.
