We may have reached a point where the content available across social media platforms is innumerable. With an increase in platforms, the variety of content is unending. Literally, any part of life you or anyone else participates in or with, someone has made a post, feel, review or blog about it. Is there a thing as too much content?
We’re here in a space where content is the fabric of what we do. From conversations about family, money, dating, love, work, or even bowel movements, there’s a discussion to be had. These are the facts of all of our lives, right? Not sure if the same can be for every segment of entertainment, especially considering hip-hop artists have been rhyming about lives they’ve never lived.
Being a food reviewer is nothing new or scarce. Darius Williams is another food reviewer in the same space with a different approach. Nevertheless, he gets the job done by either putting businesses on blast for not so great food or experiences, or giving the business a boom as a result of his feedback. In both cases, this content can be found all over Beyoncé’s internet. But when do we reach our peak with how much we want to see? Dows capturing content take precedent over everything else regardless of the end result?
Check out Episode 147 as we discuss this and so much more. Like, comment and share! Don’t forget to follow so you don’t miss an episode.
At some point, we gotta stop and think when is enough content enough? Not in the sense of volume but in the sense of material. Or is the no limit to what one will do for entertainment? Or is the limit put in place but what viewers are willing to digest?
Recently, food reviewer Keith Lee was thrown further into the spotlight as he and his family toured the Atlanta restaurant scene. Of course as with most things, most of the attention a result of not so favorable scenarios instead of the amazing contributions made to help underperforming businesses gain the attention they deserved. Isn’t that always the case?
