The guest mix in the second hour is by Brian Vee from Bristol in the UK. His unique stripped down fusion of acid techno, hard house, trance and vocal samples from classic dance tracks evokes memories of the age of rave whilst being firmly rooted in the modern sound of techno. He starts his mix with an introduction specially written for A Darker Wave and includes vocal samples from the likes of The Carpenters, House of Pain, Gorillaz, Soul 2 Soul, Massive Attack and David Bowie over five of his own driving techno tracks plus others from Marie Vaunt, Louis M and many more.
