My road to recovery - Stem Cell and PRP edition! If you haven't been following long, my left shoulder has been through a LOT. 9-10 dislocations and full reconstruction done by 2012. Then had a pretty major motorbike crash tore 3 of the 4 rotator cuff muscles off (and bicep) and required 2 open reconstructions to attempt to repair. Still after 4 years I'm sitting at 65% function of that shoulder so next step was finding the right Regenerative Therapies to attempt to rebuild tissue and improve range. Now I've worked with a ton of clients around surgeries and injuries and nothing will top proper movement and a low inflammatory, high protein diet, but looking into Stem Cell and PRP has been a huge learning curve. As with most of my clients, most surgeons are not willing to look at other complimentary treatments to aid recovery so this was way harder than it needed to be to learn. After spending thousands paying specialists to find the best options to repair this shoulder I want to share it with you so I can share you the expense.
