Black Student Union (BSU) was chartered on the Cal Poly Pomona campus in 1968 and has continued to be an essential student leader organization unifying the Black community of Cal Poly Pomona. This episode is an interview with Eric McDowell, BSU president (1992-1993) who helped served as one of the student leaders to help bring the African American Student Center (AASC) to campus and shape the Black student experience along with the AASC.
