Last June the police department in Alhambra, California, just outside of Los Angelos, alerted residents to a potential danger lurking in their midst. It's a method now being used by thieves to discover "an opportune time" to burglarize homes and steal. Luke also uses this phrase to describe how the devil operates. In John, our Savior describes the adversary as a thief who comes only to steal and destroy.
