The final season returns and the boys are bigger than ever. This is honestly the worst bit of the Bible. Man alive, we're basically heroes for getting through this one. If anyone is bored of the holy book by now you should know we take a side-step in this one and actually do a bit of Myths (Romulus & Remus) and Legends (Us, for having a podcast) Keep being fantastic and thanks for sticking with us when the episode schedule gets a bit delayed. We basically want to make sure we record the last one together, so we have to space these out a bit. The world may be falling apart but you can't stop us from reading the "good" book. No matter how many times you ask us not to... "Hush! HUSH!" we shout, ripping pages out of more enjoyable books while we watch you and your dumb children crying about it. "Please, stop reading the Bible. Stop making podcasts!" You yell, wrongly. "We are your saviours and we have come," One of us says while the other rolls his Eliot eyes. "What the world needs right now is more BiblePod. You are so welcome." As long as the sun shines, as long as the bird sings, as long as the infinite reach of space envelops our flawed and beautiful planet, we shall read this book and you will listen to our stupid chat. ------ Please watch/ listen to our stuff: ------ Eliot's short film, Flu & Me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zl8w9aHT_fc&t=1211s Eliot's audioplay, Paper Thin: https://pod.fo/e/aa9bf Sean has nothing to do with Emily in Paris, but here's a link to it: https://www.netflix.com/title/81037371 Sean's show, Hail Mary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzQwEum3WJQ&t=1856s ------ And follow these on your socials if you fancy: The show on Twitter Sean on Twitter Sean on Instagram Eliot on Twitter Eliot on Instagram Hosted on Acast. "Toxic masculinity" is a phrase that's constantly being chucked around these days, but what does it really mean? How can we - as a society - not only analyse the building blocks of daily norms and cultural touchstones, but also break them down to hopefully create a more accepting, loving and respectful world? On 3rd November 2019, history was made. Standing before a crowd of dozens, Sean McLoughlin & Eliot J Fallows celebrated completing the Old Testament by handing out The Old Testament Awards (nicknamed "The Testes")It was a thing of beauty.Later that night, they discovered the event was not recorded. After being bought out by a new, but very friendly megacorporation, it was suggested that Sean and Eliot "remake" the event in "live action" to include all of the content, but none of the heart or excitement of the original... What is a proverb? We don't know. It's like a sentence but more aggressive. Aggressive to the soul. Like a soul knife. But then someone twists the soul knife so it opens up a new bit of your soul. Like a soul door wedge. But then someone trips on the soul door wedge because the door isn't open all the way and your newfound morals rub people the wrong way. So you find yourself more enlightened and in tune with the universe, but ultimately you're also more alone. Welcome to our comedy podcast. Sean's been political and Eliot's been charitable.
