In this episode, Leary and Armin discuss those bad day blues and how to keep a bad day from getting worse. They suggest taking five steps:

  1. Express. Acknowledge what’s happened by talking it out with a good listener; or journal about it. What’s your blocked goal?
  2. Lesson. Find what the situation might teach you.
  3. Reframe. Identify and reframe your expectations.
  4. Protect. Protect your most important relationships from a bad-day spillover.
  5. Redeem. Determine what steps you can take to redeem a bad day.
