In this episode of his "Thinking Out Loud" series, Double D examines an article from 'People's World' where researchers from NYU and Columbia University suggest that traders in Tel Aviv and New York had insider knowledge that the attacks on October 7th were going to happen.
Double D shows data and graphs which depict a huge spike in "short-selling" of Israeli tied stocks in the days leading up to the attack. He ruminates on how wide the conspiracy may go, and what its implications are from the genocide in Gaza. He also reflects on the moral horror of betting on war and ethnic cleansing.
