As a self-taught artist, John Wren has spent many years exploring his artistic expression through a variety of mediums.
Like any great hero's journey, the path has been long and winding. From trading beer for scrap metal creating early sculpting success followed by artistic intervention. A safe sensible career, then drawn back again into the world of art. Right as the spicy cough kicked in, forcing some serious lateral thinking to solve the new problem of no galleries.
A fascinating story of persistence, finding your way, and listening to the universe. Be it a subtle whisper or if you miss that one, a full-blown sledgehammer.
