Today’s guest, Michelle, is half white, half Filipino. She never felt like she truly connected culturally with either side of her heritage. There wasn’t much of her Filipino heritage present growing up, so she feels quite disconnected from it, but she has always felt drawn to Asian music and art.
In this episode, we will discuss Michelle's racial background, her experiences growing up mixed race, her connection to her Filipino culture, and her journey in music therapy. We will also talk about the challenges she faced and the impact of her family dynamics on her identity. Michelle shares her passion for music and her aspirations to leave a legacy of love and light.
