Thomas Lorini is now a professional real estate investor, but it wasn’t always that way. It started by wanting to move out of his parents’ home. So he bought a 3 bedroom townhouse that was too big for him, so rented out the basement. He suddenly realized his tenant was PAYING HIS MORTGAGE, but he didn’t have the skills or knowledge to proceed further, so he joined a mastermind group. Shortly after, he bought his first investment property, and was on the way to success…or was he?! He tried to DIY his first investment and learned a lot, but decided he needed to leverage other people’s talents to truly succeed.

You SHOULD listen to this podcast if you are struggling to manage your properties or wanting to expand your portfolio!

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

  • How moving out of his parents’ house and buying his own opened his eyes to investment by house hacking
  • Why he was the first in his inner circle that tried real estate investing
  • The fun, challenges and mistakes he experienced while working on his first property
  • Why he suddenly decided to sell his first property, but it didn’t sell and why he’s happy it didn’t
  • Why he sold his Ontario based business to continue in real estate
  • Why he’s moved physically to the US and also started investing there
  • How he leveraged JVs for mortgages with no US credit and no business
  • From single family to multi family, how he raised capital to purchase them
  • How coaching helped him increase his focus and effectiveness
  • Why he set up a coaching/mentoring business to enable Canadians to expand into the US
  • The differences between US and Canadian investing
  • And MUCH more!
