Kelsunn Communications, Inc (www.kelsunn.org) is proud to bring you this podcast which features a discussion about a ground-breaking film on addiction & treatment. The film is called “Tipping the Pain Scale” - The film’s slogan is “Addiction isn’t a choice, Compassion is!! The discussion features three champions of addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery methods, Mr. Steven Chassman, CEO of LICADD (www.licadd.org), Dr. Carol Carter, Founder of Sunshine Prevention Center (https://www.sunshinepreventionctr.org/), and Suffolk County Legislator Kara Hahn, all of Long Island, NY.

It has been released to celebrate September as "National Recovery Month". We were also graced with an opportunity to interview the film producer, the Award-Winning”, Mr. Greg Williams. The film will air locally on October 6, 2022 at 7pm in Port Jefferson, NY at Theatre Three, 412 Main Street, Port Jefferson, NY. We are encouraging everyone who hears this podcast anywhere in the NY-Tristate arear, to attend the film screening. There is no charge to attend. After the film, there will be a panel discussion also. In addition to that, there will be information on how other organizations and agencies can have a screening as well. Make sure to be there!!!
