The standards placed upon women in North America and beyond are impossible. We are told to care for the family, but stay in shape; "get up and work", but be engaged mothers. We are genuinely, damned if you do - damned if you don't.
This week, Shaunna and Lisa discuss these impossible standards and the ways the greater systems and institutions within our society are working to maintain these standards. Using examples like body image, motherhood, and sport, the duo unravels the true oxymorons of our society and highlight the women that are trying to create real change.
