Shrines, updating changes and Origin's on the horizon - Round 9, 2022

2022 SuperCoach has been one of the tightest seasons going around this early in the year, with massive ranking changes possible due to how compressed all the teams are! The ranks keep compressing more and more after Round 8's lack of massive scorers, and this week we have Catfish, Joe Fitz and the reigning 2021 champion Tim Moodie (@theSCLurker) to work through the key issues for Round 9.

This week we deep dive into Xavier Coates, then we play a bit of 'who am I?' as a bit of a potential comparison for what to expect for the rest of Coates' season. We also look closely at whether or not it's too late to jump on Origin guns as we are only four rounds away from Round 13 / the Origin period, considerations to take into account when deciding whether to trade out Round 13 players, and look at other important points to think about when considering team structure and whether you have coverage in key positions in post-Origin rounds (Rounds 14 and 18).
