A discussion on ableism and the community with disability with our host, Anisa, and our guest Madi! The two will discuss what ableism actually is, the appropriate language to use when discussing people with disabilities, and the history of the community, as well as some misconceptions that people have about disabilities. Madi Wolff is a high school senior from Phoenix, Arizona. While living with her own disability, SMA, she loves to educate others on the disabled community. Madi has spoken out at various conventions and fundraisers to help people understand a little bit about living with a disability. She is currently an ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and has been for over 5 years. She’s open to answering any questions people may have about SMA, disabilities, and ableism.
