Walter Cronkite, the CBS Evening News anchor in the 1960’s & 1970’s, was once asked how the news he reported was determined. Cronkite replied, “The news is what I say the news is”. Today, the folks of the mainstream media, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC & Fox, all of whom graduated from “Uncle Walter’s College of Journalism”, believe their superior intellect and insight qualifies them to tell you what you are to think and do. I have a significantly higher regard & respect for your mental capacity and ability to discern. The purpose and goal of this podcast is to: 1) Report the essential information on important issues, so that you, not someone else, are able to make appropriate decisions, and take any necessary actions, as they pertain to you. 2) Provide the background, history and possible ramifications of those issues 3) Motivate you to also do your own research once we have aimed you in the right direction. There’s something about finding out the truth for yourself. Once you do, you will ALWAYS tell at least one other person who will tell at least one other person … that is the only way needed change occurs.
