In 1964, DC Comics created the Teen Titans when Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Wonder Girl decided to form a team of their own. Stepping out of the shadows of Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman, the team has remained a mainstay of the DC publishing library and has spun off into multiple televised iterations. And while Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go concentrate on the New Teen Titans line-up, Young Justice decided to branch out by giving Aquaman a brand new sidekick.
