This week on The KOKO Show the lads serve up a big old bowl of rugby flavoured frosted flakes, regaling tales of the tape from the South to the North and everywhere in between. To help us on this journey as the enemy creeps ever closer to our shores, we are pleased to unveil our new major sponsor for The Lions Tour, it is the one and only, delightfully delicious and surprisingly refreshing Guinness. With Guinness being the unofficial beer of rugby fans around the world, it is fitting they have partnered with us, as we are unanimously the unofficial podcast of rugby fans in all the galaxies. Moreover, the mighty KOKO Show has not only landed a blue-chip sponsor, but this week we are joined by a blue-chip guest. Swoop has once again put the rubber on the road and lured in one of rugby’s dead set supernaturals. This fella has played 17 tests for the All Blacks as a player, but he truly found his calling in the coaching ranks, winning 3 World Cups and 4 Super Rugby titles; we think it is fair to say this bloke knows his x’s and o’s. It is of course the Oracle of New Zealand rugby and the ‘real’ Professor of everything awesome, Sir Wayne Smith. With Wayne in tow the lads dove deep into the world of coaching, touching on what makes great coaches tick, how coaches can get the best out of their cattle and who he thinks will win the Lions Series based on style and structure. Plus, we wrap up the Superb Rugby semi-finals, the lads gander at the URC and Premiership Grand Finals and finally we look at the British and Irish Lions Series Winner odds powered by our dear friends at TAB. The lads then round out the show by locking in some more hungry ‘Lion Tamers’ and running through our laundry list of Live Shows that are happening in each and every city. So sit back, relax and pour yourself a fresh juicy Guinness, this one will most certainly hit different. It is time now for the newest episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. This week on The KOKO Show the band is back together to celebrate the fun, frivolity and fineries that finals footy has to offer. We tackle all the action of the Super Rugby Qualifying Finals, whilst also looking forward to the seismically sensational Semi-Finals this coming weekend. Plus, we get a little naughty up North for all the footy loving legends on the more populous side of the Equator, breaking down all the Champagne rugby from the URC and Premiership Semi-Finals. To help us on our journey towards podcasting perfection, we enlisted the help of one of the greatest finishers of all time to dot this episode over the white line and claim victory for the good guys. This Fijian born South Auckland raised wrecking ball made a career out of cashing cheques and snapping necks as he ran past you at a rate of knots, please welcome the swan-diving sensation that is Mr Joe Rokocoko. With Joe in tow the lads reflect on his sublime 98 Test Match career, the times he made all three of them look like chumps and what it actually takes to be one of the best wingers the rugby world has ever seen. To cap off this tremendous trot down the wingers walk of fame the lads finalise a few more selections in our table topping team of ‘Lion Tamers’. Moreover, they have a greasy little gander at some hot off the press ‘Other Rugby News’, all in the name of keeping you, our loyal listener well informed. So, book yourself a Swedish hot stone massage, sip on the complementary ice cold cucumber water and bluetooth your way into some KOKO bliss. This week on The KOKO Show we have landed the biggest name in World Rugby. She has represented the USA at over 30 international Sevens Tournaments, won an Olympic medal and now she is doing her thing in the 15’s game in preparation for this year’s Rugby World Cup. Although her feats on the footy field are something to marvel at, it is her work off it that has further elevated her profile into superstardom. She is an authentic pioneer for women’s sport the world over, a total badass in the body positivity space and a media mogul in every sense of the title. It is of course the one and only Ilona Maher. The KOKO Crew with Ilona in tow discussed in depth what it was like growing up in Vermont, having success at the Olympic Games, sharing her messages of female empowerment and what is next for Ilona Maher after the 2025 Rugby World Cup. A chat that not only delves into the wins she has had on the rugby pitch, but an in depth look into the hard work and perseverance of a person that has taken the rugby world by storm and made it better. Plus, the lads give you a full set of takeaways from round 14 of the Superb Rugby and the Wallaroos’ big win over the USA in Canberra. Moreover, we have a little gander at all the big talking points from the global rugby landscape in ‘Other Rugby News’, before locking in four more ‘Lion Tamers’ in our Aussie squad to take down those British and Irish bad boys. So, sit back and relax as we take a moment to marvel in the majesty of Ilona Maher, a person that has changed our game for good and will continue to put the Bae in Rug-Bae. This week on The KOKO Show we have an absolutely smashing episode for you all. The lads are joined by the two Aussie British and Irish Lions Tourees, Mr Mack ‘Daddy’ Hansen and Mr Sione ‘The Scot’ Tuipulotu. We broke down with the boys, what it felt like to join this illustrious club, where they were when they got the news and which Australian watering holes they will be attending alongside their band of bad losers. Plus, we analysed and dissected the complete 2025 British and Irish Lions Squad with a fine tooth comb, as we tried to poke holes in their approach, highlight their weaknesses and work out how the Wallabies will win the series 3-0. Moreover, with all this hubbub about a certain red army approaching our shores, it would be easy to lose sight of all the cracking footy action happening right here in Australia and New Zealand. That is right, fear not our soggy and sodden Southern Hemisphere heroes, this week we give you all the major takeaways from round 13 of the Superb Rugby, the highs and lows of the Wallaroos’ Pac 4 campaign and a smattering of juicy rugby news from around the world. Finally, the KOKO Crew are back to work hitting the whiteboards and breathing in the sweet nectar of alcohol based cleaning products in the hope of constructing an Aussie squad akin to the ‘Locked in Lions’, that we are calling ‘The Lion Tamers’. The fellas will be picking four Australian players each week to join the noble ranks of ‘The Lion Tamers’, with the sole ambition of crushing these pompous touring tea tossers. So, sit back, relax and steep your brew with the highly dysfunctional KOKO Crew. It is time for episode 21 of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. This week on The KOKO Show the lads were plagued with a serious case of Les Kiss fever, but they didn't seem to be that phased by this particular ailment, as they delivered a wall to wall recap of the week that was in World Rugby. Firstly, the boys addressed the new appointment of Les Kiss as the next Wallabies coach, a decision that buoyed the boys and got them all a little hot under the saddle blanket for the future of Australian Rugby. To help the fellas through the ups and downs of Les Kiss fever, we enlisted a very special guest to add some much needed star power to our very pedestrian weekly production. That is right, this week we are joined by the Frankston firecracker, Melbourne’s man of marble and now Glasgow’s benevolent bulldozer. So, please welcome Scotland’s captain and Australia’s one that got away, Mr Sione Tuipulotu. Sione and the lads chewed the fat about all things footy, from what it was like leaving Australia for Scotland, his recovery from a peck injury and what it would feel like to be given the honour to play for the British and Irish Lions. Finally, the crew give you their tangy yet tasteful takeaways from the week of rugby, touching on week 12 of the Superb season, the Wallaroos’ big win over Fiji and all the action from the European Champions Cup Semi-Finals. Lastly, to put a big fat bow on what has been a constant segment for the show all year, the lads finally cement their lucky 37 as we finalise our squad of Locked In Lions. So knock back a couple of downers, put on your compression socks and talk shit to your flight attendant, this metal bird is taking to the skies and boy it is going to be a bumpy fucking ride. It is time for an all new Kick Offs and Kick Ons. This week on The KOKO Show the boys regroup after a big ANZAC Weekend and they reflect on all the magnificent footy that was played in round 11 of the Superb Rugby, whilst also looking forward to the final five weeks of the season and predicting which team will come out on top. In a weekend where the Brumbies had a stumble, the Reds caught fire, the Savea brothers kicked ass and the Chiefs still reigned supreme, the lads had their work cut out for them, as they tried to make sense of this topsy turvy 2025 season. To round out this robust rugby recap the lads debuted a new segment called ‘The Transfer Tracker’, where the boys gave their immediate reactions and dissections to all of the big player moves both in Australian Rugby and around the world. That’s right the KOKO Crew is giving you a big old ‘RA RA’ wrap to fill up your Ozempic tainted tummies and of course, we always wash it down with a pint of our finest ice cold shit talk. Plus, Ladies and Gents that is not all, to add some much needed credibility to this rumbling bumbling poor excuse of a podcast, the lads enlisted the help of the best number 10 in Australia. No, it isn’t Noah Lolesio, nor is it Lawson Creighton and we couldn’t make Tommy Lynagh’s monetary deal, so in reflection we got what we got. Nonetheless please welcome the hairiest handler of balls in the business, it is the one and only Mr Ben Donaldson. Moreover, Benny takes us through why the Force are fighting for every inch in 2025, what he really thinks of Carlo Tizzano and how excited he is about hopefully taking on the British and Irish Lions this year. So sit back, relax, elevate your gout riddled feet, peel a couple of leftover choccy eggs and suck back on an ice cold Crown Lager. It is time to get fancy as f#*k and tune into an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. This week on The KOKO Show we celebrated the Easter Break with a rip snorter of an episode that really rolled the stone away and allowed the lads to sink their teeth into a wonderful weekend filled with choccy eggs and fantastic friggin footy. The boys get down and dirty hunting for all the little bits and bobs from the Women’s Super Rugby Champions Final that saw the Blues defeat the Waratahs, they got stuck into week 10 of the Superb Rugby as we head into the final couple of months and finally they fastened down the last three ‘Locked in Lions’ on our very special whiteboard. Plus, it wouldn't be an Easter special without a guest that somewhat resembles a delicious little Lindt Ball, so we brought in Canberra’s really bad bunny and one of our favourite bucking Brumbies, Mr Billy ‘found love in a hopeless place’ Pollard. With Billy in tow we dissect how the Brumbies are bulldozing their way into finals contention, his desire to play a big part in the upcoming Lions Series and why James Slipper has become a bit of a bully in his twilight years. So pop on your bunny ears, fluff up that cotton tail and put yourself in a compromising yet sexy position on the kitchen table. It is time to be a raunchy little rabbit this Easter, whilst enjoying the latest episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. You are most welcome our chummy yummy bunnies! This week on The KOKO Show we get our Swoopy back from his impromptu golfing trips to make the group whole again as we break down a wonderful week that was in the world of rugby. The lads came together to run a fine tooth comb through the Super Rugby W Final that saw the Tahs tackle the Reds at North Sydney Oval, to make it back to back chips in 2024 and 25. Plus, we go large on round 9 of the Superb Rugby Pacific, highlighting the Brumbies big win over the Reds, the Tahs toppling the challenging Chiefs and the Crusaders taking their rightful place back on top of the Super ladder. Moreover, the boys go full business mode as they tackle all the hard hitting topics in a saucy smattering of Other Rugby News. However, the highlight of Episode 17 has to be our very special guest, all the way from the fortified walls of Edinburgh Castle with his new Whiskey in hand and donning a gorgeously snug pair of togs, it is Scotland’s South African chunky chappy Mr Pierre Schoeman. We discuss everything from the state of rugby north of the wall, what it was like growing up in South Africa and now proudly playing for Scotland and finally his delicious little side business he shares with teammate and friend Duhan van der Merwe. So sit back, relax and hook up your IV drip full of Hirundine Whiskey and just let those mellow smokey notes of four flogs trying to make a rugby pod fill your gills with glee. Because it is time for episode 17 of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. This week on The KOKO Show the boys are dealing with some post Hong Kong hardships and Swoop forgot to tell us that he was off to NZ to play golf. However, the remaining members of our merry band go in deep and dark to tackle the world of footy as we look at the Superb Rugby, Superb W, the Singapore Sevens and Drew has a bone to pick with the European Champions Cup in a brand new ‘What's Drewing?’. Plus, we are joined by one of Australia's best young backrowers, a man that is making the Brumbies buck in 2025 with his ample sized Bathurst born body, please enjoy our time with Mr Tom Hooper. With Tommy in toe we discuss everything from his fine form in the Superb Rugby, his aspirations of playing in the Lions Series and all the way through to his impending exodus to Exeter. Lastly, we jot down a few more of our lucky ‘Lock in Lions’ and as the list is getting more full by the day there might have to be a small KOKO cull in the coming weeks, before the lads release their finalized squad officially. So throw down a six-pack of dim sum to lift the energy levels and shake your hips like you are the only person having a go in Wan Chi, it is time for a heart stopping body popping episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. As advertised, the KOKO Crew took on the Hong Kong Sevens for the second year in a row and some people doubted our commitment to the cause, but let the record show we came, we saw and we most certainly survived. Thanks to the Discover Hong Kong (Hong Kong Tourism Board), Cathay Pacific and Ovolo Hotels for giving the show another phenomenal experience of lifetime. This tour will most certainly go down in the KOKO history books as a rip roaring success, we went to the Hong Kong Football Club for a night of laughs with Jim Hamilton and Andy Goode, had a day of childish laughs on the rides at Ocean Park Hong Kong, enjoyed some delicious food With Virginia Chan, took in sights and sounds of the Pottinger Street Market and we soaked up all the seriously spicy rugby action from the 10s and the 7s across the week. With the Hong Kong Sevens entering a new era at the sleek, sparkling and simply sensational Kai Tak Sports Park the balance between nostalgia and reinvention was perfectly on point. Due to the allure of the all new Hong Kong Sevens, throughout the weekend, the boys were joined by an array of rugby royalty including Bryan Habana, Alicia Quirk, Jamie Roberts and the aforementioned ‘Big Jim and Goodey’. Plus, we were allowed into the bowels of Kai Tak Stadium to see how the teams prepare in their brand new digs and we cap off the episode with a dash of debauchery, in our newest instalment of the ‘KOKO Carnage’. This show is the perfect blend of naughty and nice, showcasing the eternal struggle of which side will come out on top. However, ladies and gentlemen the answer is simple, KOKO always finishes on top. For another year the beauty and vibrancy of Hong Kong is regrettably now in the rear vision mirror, but as we build through 2025 and navigate the British and Irish Lions as well as all the other international fixtures around the world, this little pod will always have one eye on the ‘Pearl of the Orient’. So sit back, relax, deactivate the secret Airtags you had on your loved ones who attended the Sevens (in our case Holiday Swoop) and simply revel in the beauty that is KOKO on tour. We present Kick Offs and Kick Ons the Hong Kong Experience. This week on The KOKO Show the guys are gearing up for another round of slaying the dragon in Hong Kong. They are fired up to rock the Hong Kong Sevens to its core, having said that blind Freddy could see the air of apprehension and fear pouring off the fellas. There will be stories told, lessons learnt and fun to be had, the lads will be galvanised once again on the road to podcasting superstardom. Plus, the boys sink their teeth into round 6 of the Superb Rugby giving you all their glitzy and glamorous ‘Top Takeaways’ from the week that was in the world of ‘ra ra’. With all four Aussie teams sitting pretty in the top six of the Super Rugby ladder spirits are high and the egos are sufficiently inflated across the panel. Moreover, the lads spend some time thanking the beautiful people of Forbes for their love and support at the Forbes Rugby Presidents Lunch, where KOKO really cranked up the energy in support for country sport and grassroots footy. Finally, the lads select some more sorry sods in their Locked In Lions to take on the Wallabies in July and August. You guys have begged and bartered for us to take it back to the old form and we have listened. But fear not our ‘Ra Ra’ infected rugrats we have not deprived you of any awesome footy flavoured goodness. In this week's show the lads drape themselves in blue and start a second revolution to celebrate the very French finish to this year's Six Nations title, illuminating where 'Les Bleus' got it right and how the rest of the pack just fell short. Plus, our beautiful battlers are joined by a very special guest this week, he was one of the Wallabies most impactful players in 2024 and this year for the Brumbies he is stealing the show. Please welcome the rugby union renegade who is waxed from top to toe and lasered everywhere in between, he is the hairless boy wonder and friend of the show Mr Tom Wright. For your second psychological stroking by Dr KOKO this week, we have brought in a very special guest to help break down all your emotional walls and to peer deeply in the rubble of your hearts. That is right, this week the lads are joined by the slickest speedster in Sydney, a Tah that tallies tries quicker than Swoop sucks back a slippery nipple, it is of course the Wallabies very hungry Viking Mr Max Jorgensen. The boys opened up their shoulders and got stuck into Jorgo’s career thus far, his decision to play union over league and what it was like to crush the souls of every Englishman on the Spring Tour. Plus, the lads get their pretty little paws dirty previewing round 5 of the Super Rugby, placing their picks for the final flash of Six Nations footy and once again they lock in some more lucky Lions. This week on The KOKO Show we put all our shit aside and moved footy to the fore, breaking down all the round 4 action from both the Superb Rugby and Six Nations. The lads can't resist hooping and hollering at the hot throbbing product that is Super Rugby Pacific 2025, as they discuss a week of footy that was packed full of upstarts, uprisings and upsets. Within our new segment ‘KOKO’s Top 5 Takeaways’ the crew highlights how the Waratahs have found their fire, the Brumbies have built themselves a backbone and just how beautiful a weekend is when only one Kiwi team wins. Plus, these pheromone sodden phenoms take a little walk on the wild side as they unpack all the action from up north in the ‘Six Nations Summation’, bringing light to the fearless French, interrogating the incompetent Irish and somewhat extinguishing the excitable English. Moreover, with only one round left in the greatest rugby competition in the world, the boys have a little look and spirited debate about who holds poll position heading into their final 80 minutes. Lastly, we are joined briefly by the Aussie breaker of English hearts and Waratahs young gun Mr Max Jorgensen (full interview on Thursday) for a little chinwag about his red hot form in Super Rugby and the guys get down and dirty as they immerse themselves in a Quiz. So, throw the kids on the ipad, leave everything in the sink, pop a couple xannies and melt into your well weathered lazy-boy, it’s time for Kick Offs and Kick Ons. This week the lads decided to do the ‘Superb Rugby Roundup’ a little differently, instead of winding their way through every game one by one, they decided to tackle another cracking week of domestic footy by illuminating their ‘Top 5 Talking points’. Moreover, with this new found angle and creative direction, the fellas have conjured up some of the best and most beautiful rugby punditry money can buy, as they deep dive on how all the Aussie teams are shaping up after three weeks, as well as establishing a mutual agreement that no Super Rugby team has hit their straps just yet. Plus, after the boys clean themselves up from that sensual Super Rugby session of common sense, they add to their tally of ‘Locked in Lions’ and finally they finish with a truly edge of your seat installment of the KOKO Quiz. So sheer your sheep, milk those cows and collect the eggs, because Old MacDonald has a fucking good podcast for you to listen to. It is time for episode nine of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. This week on The KOKO Show our first instalment is jam packed wall to wall with the game they play in heaven as we break down all the action from across the Six Nations and Super Rugby. With so much ‘ra ra’ to rummage through we thought it would be sensible to enlist a very special guest to make sense of it all. Our guest this week is such a big deal in the world of rugby the fact he is on our dinky little show either means there was an administrative error or he is just straight up crazy. This fella is without a doubt one of the best number 10’s in the world, he hates an untidy house, his favourite film is anchorman and boy he can whip up a mean carbonara, so please put your hands together for Mr Finn Russell. With Finn in toe, we discuss and dissect all the Six Nations action from over the weekend which saw England win back the Calcutta Cup, the Irish down the resilient Welsh and the French flog the abysmal Azzurri. Furthermore, Mr Russell talks about his excitement surrounding the upcoming Lions Tour and he has promised the KOKO Crew a couple of big nights out on him. Plus, the lads also get silky with a sublime second round of Super Rugby, illuminating all the reasons as to why it is the best domestic competition in the world. So slip on your kilts, pour yourself a Scotch and let the breeze blow between your cheeks, because this show will be a super sensual yet very Scottish sensory overload. It is time now for Kick Offs and Kick Ons. For the first installment this week of The KOKO Show we are making round one of the Super Rugby season the first order of business, as the lads crunch the numbers and survey the action from a spine tingling slate of initial matches. In a week where 45 tries were awarded, 317 points were scored and every match finished within a 1-12 margin, it would be fair to say Super Rugby is back and the fellas were physically aroused. With tight pants and positive attitudes the boys shuck each game like a delicious Sydney Rock Oyster, handing you their pearls of wisdom when necessary and throwing out the facts that don't pass the sniff test. Moreover, the guys get hot and heavy celebrating the most successful first round of Super Rugby by Aussie teams since 2018, with the Brumbies, Warartahs and Western force all notching up last gasp wins for a tangly little trifecta of triumph. Plus, the fellas are open and honest with how they are placed after week one in the KOKO Super Rugby Fantasy League, as they celebrate sexy selections, rue missed opportunities or in Prof’s case only just realised the Reds didn't play. So sit back and set up a fantasy team full of your favourite former footy greats over forty that have a mediocre podcast and let your dirtiest thoughts run wild. It is time to get freaky ladies and gentlemen with another episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. For your second trip up to the all you can eat KOKO buffet of happiness and rugby filled banter, we are giving you a healthy lashing of Super Rugby excitement, a side salad of ‘What’s Drewin’ and little sweet treat to finish as we name our first round of ‘Locked in Lions’. With the ‘Superb’ Rugby season merely hours away from kicking off the lads run their greasy mitts through each and every Australian franchise, handing you unsolicited pearls of wisdom about how each team will compete and fair in the upcoming 2025 season. We talk crucial INS, OUT and and what could have ‘beens’ for each side, as we put together the most complete and comprehensive season preview that zero dollars could buy. Plus, the boys have to smooth over some tense moments with Gits as he comes to terms with the fact most of the best Rebels players on the market didn't and shouldn’t want to live in Canberra. I mean we could all ‘A SEE T’ that was coming! Moreover, Drew clears the cobwebs off the age-old debate “What is Sua’ali’i’s best position?”, as the Tahs look to play him at the back, whilst Schmidt saw his value in the centres. Finally, to keep our little frostbitten friends north of the wall happy, we have introduced a new segment called ‘The Locked in Lions”, where for the 12 weeks the lads will pick one player each every week to put on our whiteboard that can pack their bags and book their exit rows seats for the Lions Tour Down Under. So, put your tray tables away and place your seats in the upright position as the KOKO Crew point out each and every debaucherous exit on your whirlwind trip to pleasure town. It is time now for episode four of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. This week on The KOKO Show our Tuesday fix gets seriously down and dirty with the world of ‘Ra Ra’ as the lads get open and honest about all the action across week two of the Six Nations, as well as pulling apart all the big news within Australian Rugby. To kick off the first episode of the week the boys went introspective outlining lessons they learnt over the weekend, in a brand new segment we like to call ‘KOKO’s Weekend Wake Up Call’. The second sinking ship to depart the port of Kick Off and Kick On was a comprehensive sweep of the sad news that Joe Schmidt will be hanging up his green and gold whistle at the conclusion of the TRC. The KOKO Crew touch on all the noble reasons for his departure, the work he has done so far and the work he will continue to do up until the end of his tenure to put Australian Rugby back on the International radar. Plus, the boys get BOLD once again, as they outline possible suitors in the rugby stratosphere that cut the mustard as Joe Schmidt’s replacement. We know what you are all thinking up north these Aussies are so bloody self-centered, but fret not my winter withered wise arses, we have once again served you up a delicious helping of the ‘Six Nations Summation’, as we highlight England’s upset over the French and Ireland’s renewed quest for that always elusive Grand Slam. So spark up a durrie because vaping is so 2024 and let this next gen rugby ruckus fill your every orifice with life, laughter and the pursuit of some fucking sponsors. This week on The KOKO Show we come to your eyes and ears by way of the Central Tablelands in NSW as the fellas finish off our inaugural season of KOKO in Orange. Despite the boys being of weary body and mind, they bound their Northern Hemisphere inflicted wounds, popped a couple Nurofen plus and got back on this bucking bronco of a show to finish the year off in grassroots style. When we started this show, all we wanted to do is help the average Aussie footy fan fall back in love with rugby again, whilst giving back to the OG footy fans in our rural and regional communities. Oh Boy! Let us bloody tell you rugby union is alive and well if northwest NSW is anything to go by and we can’t thank The Saltbush Hotel, Orange and the surrounding areas enough for their support of the show in our final episode of season one. In this week’s episode we put a pretty little Chrissy bow on what was a whirlwind debut season for Kick Offs and Kick Ons, discussing the year that was 2024 in both the contexts of our show as well as the World Rugby landscape as a whole. The lads breakdown their highs and lows of the year, who and what caught their eye on the field and what 2025 has in store for all of us. We would like to give a big thank you to our headline sponsor MYER for all of their support this year and allowing us to create a show that accurately conveys the light and shade of Australian Rugby. Plus, we would also like to show some love to all of our sponsors throughout 2024 for being vital cogs in the wheel of success that was KOKO 1.0. In a year that has seen us laugh, cry, sit on milk crates and then travel to all corners of the globe, it is you our fans that deserve the final thanks. Without your support week in and week out, we wouldn't be able to put this poor excuse of a podcast together and for that we are eternally grateful. This week on The KOKO Show the lads leave their luggage-less European odyssey behind to take on the delicious yet dangerous deserts of Dubai. As we all know December signals the end of the International Test season down under, with the resurgent Wallabies going down in a tight tussle against the intoxicating Irish in Dublin. With that being said the KOKO Crew breaks down all the ins and outs of that encounter and how Aussie fans should be buoyed by what we saw in Joe Schmidt’s heartbreaking homecoming. However, as we close the book on 2024’s Test Match madness, the lads open up the sensational sevens scrapbook as we look at all the action from the Emirates Dubai Sevens. We trade in the slush and sleet of soggy Europe for the sun and sand of the UAE, to bring you a cracking show from the comfort of the Emirates Dubai Sevens Sunroom, as we celebrate the Aussie women and the Fiji men for claiming their respective titles over the weekend. Plus, the gang are joined by two of the all time greats who are now part of the HSBC red polo stable raking in that global dollar, so please get ready to enjoy the stories and world class banter from Bryan Habana and Michael Hooper. To cap off a cracking episode we express our love and support for all the people and entities involved in putting together this KOKO Tour and of course we show our appreciation for the beautiful people at MYER with an all time mixed bag Match Fit all they from the Dubai desert. As we near the end of our inaugural season as The KOKO Show we encourage you not to worry and be happy because we promise to be back bigger and better next year. This week on the KOKO Show the lads are coming to you from the billionaire's backyard, Monaco. In a nation known for its tangy tax breaks, OTT opulence and a general intolerance for Aussie ‘riff raff’, there are four bog standard blokes with no voices, peaking anxiety levels and rented tuxedos leaving their mark on this really tidy town. We are in Prince Albert’s country for the World Rugby Awards and after dragging Holiday Swoop away from the open bar, Drew away from stalking Dupont and putting Goit’s shirt back on for the red carpet, we found ourselves just a little sliver of time to bring you a truly luxe podcasting presentation of perfection. As the Autumn Internationals come to close with only one match remaining next weekend, with the Aussies taking on the Irish, we give you a full breakdown of all the action from week three of the November Test Match madness. Moreover, despite the panel being down in the dumps after watching the Wallabies’ Grand Slam hopes get murdered at Murrayfield, we run through all the ins and outs of Scotland’s sublime sinking of HMAS ‘Schmidt Hot’ and how the Aussies will bounce back against the Irish. Plus, we will give you a little taste of all the matches from across the weekend, as well as all the winners and grinners from World Rugby’s night of nights. I mean it aint the Logies or the RSL’s mega meat tray raffle, but Monaco is pretty cool I guess. So, get yourself squared away as we bring you MYER’s first Monaco mixed bag Match Fit and some seriously sensational ‘Super Sizzlers’ brought to you by BeefEater and Appliances Online. This show will certainly bring you vacay vibes, as boys go full ‘maxo relaxo’ in the middle of the Med. Despite our show standing out like dogs balls in such a serene setting, we promise to deliver you a demure dictation of the most distinguished debauchery in all of rugby. This week on The KOKO Show we come to your eyes and ears from foggy old London, where people come to complain and sun tans come to die. The Special guest this week on KOKO does not have a long neck nor feathers, but boy he is a bit of a goose. He is England’s most capped player of all time and from all accounts one of the best blokes to ever grace a footy field. We apologize you have to listen to this pint-sized pain in the ass for a whole episode, but we are truly grateful that Mr. Ben Youngs dropped by for a chat. The boys run through the whole slate of Test Match footy from week 2 of the November Internationals, starting with the Wallabies record-breaking win over the woeful Welsh, England falling short once again to their Southern Hemisphere counterparts, Les Bleus bouncing the big boy All Blacks and plenty more from around the grounds. Thanks to our dear friends at MYER we bring you some silky summer threads from the dullest place on earth in a confusingly beautiful mixed bag ‘Match Fit’ and we fire up the grills to deliver our ‘Super Sizzlers’ from the weekend’s action, brought to you by BeefEater and Appliances Online. So lock up families, chain up your pets, and clear out your safety deposit boxes. The KOKO Contiki Tour is in full swing and Holiday Swoop has been let out of his cage. As we have always said on this show, when the Wallabies ‘Schmidt It In’, KOKO ‘Schmidts’ alongside them but one thing is for sure our boys turn that ‘Schmidt’ up to a ten. So, sit back and enjoy as we lock in on those kilt-wearing caber tossers, that's right Scotland you’re next! This week on The KOKO Show we take a minute as a nation to bask in the radiant light of victory and the glorious healing properties of ‘Schmidting it in’ over the old foe. The lads whisk you away on an all expenses paid trip in and around how the Wallabies managed to win their first match against England at Twickenham since 2015, keeping the hopes of breaking the 40 year Grand Slam drought well and truly alive. To help us navigate this titanus tussle at ‘Twicks’ we tried to think of a former English great that would willingly allow us to rub his nose in the fact that Australia is simply just better as a country, so we landed on Gits’ big burly and often baked bear of a best mate, Mr Alex Corbisiero who gives the show some much needed direction pointing out the areas of the game that caught his eye and the importance of professional identity. Furthermore, to put a bow on this vital victory for the mighty men in gold we dish up our ‘Super Sizzlers’ brought to you by BeefEater and Corbs generously graces us with a ‘phat rap’ dedicated to our show. Plus, we also cover all the other big dog bouts including the All Black’s upset of Ireland, the Boks silencing the Scots and of course Fiji whaling on Wales. We know what you are thinking, what are you guys wearing whilst you piece together this rugby roundtable of awesomeness? Well thanks to MYER the fellas are fashionably on point and they show you just what to buy for summer in the newest instalment of the always wonderful mixed bag ‘Match Fit’. So lie back and get comfy as we tell you a raunchy tale from the weekend entitled ‘The Grand Slam’, where the Northern Hemisphere wined and dined the South, then we rolled around in their fields a little, used their shower, sullied their tooth brush and never called them again, leaving the North’s ego bruised, used and confused heading into week 2 of the tour. This week in the ‘KOKO Match Review’ the boys celebrate an amazing Wallabies win against the old foe England in the dying moments at Twickenham. The ‘Gladiators of Gold’ showed a new identity of grit and determination to claim only their second Test Match win over the motherland in their last twelve matchups. The gang analyzed Aussie debutant Joseph Sua’ali’i’s performance as he became only the second Wallaby behind our very own Matt Giteau to play their first professional rugby union match on the international stage. Although Joseph’s bank balance might have a few less commas than Goits, he did however manage a feat that our little legend couldn't by claiming player man of the match honours in his very first outing. In a game where both sides landed punches and weathered storms, the lads highlight that for the Wallabies Len Ikitau had a formidable performance in every facet of the game and for the English it is fair to say Marcus Smith has put a stake in the ground as a premier fly half in world rugby. However, it was Joe Schmidt’s men who dug deep for the full eighty minutes and ensured that the always elusive Grand Slam title was still alive and kicking for the Wallabies in 2024. The lads will cover every square inch of this cracking Test Match documenting the emotional ebbs and flows of International rugby and how the mighty Wallabies took a Schmidt on England’s parade. So wake the fuck up and smell the roses that we just stole from those pesky primadonna Poms. Australia it is time to stop checking your blood pressure, pop a ‘xanny’, pour yourself a spritz and just bathe in the warm and fuzzies that a win over England provides. Please enjoy another dose of the ‘KOKO Match Review’. This week on The KOKO Show the boys are joined by a Wallabies Test Centurion, pint sized powerhouse and just all around great bloke. This fella was known for his delicious service from the base of the ruck and the amazing ability to live on a steady diet of self confidence and Pepsi Max. That is right, Will Genia drops by to impart his wisdom, footy insights and humour on our delightful panel of dullards. In this episode the boys break down the All Black’s nail biting victory over England, as well as Scotland's schooling of a feeble Fiji at Murrayfield. Fret not ye KOKO cool cats, this is not where the ‘ra ra’ ramble ends, as the fellas fine tooth comb their way through week 1 of the November Internationals giving you personalised previews of all the hot tips and count flips when it comes to deciding who is better between the North and South. However, we spend a little more time on how Joe’s ‘Gladiators of Gold’ are shaping up to dismantle the motherland and priming themselves to sufficiently ‘Schmidt’ on England’s parade. Plus, thanks to our beautiful friends at MYER for keeping this show on its toes, we slide out another silky yet sensual ‘Match Fit’ that promises to hit you in all the right places. Furthermore, with the mercury rising and the ocean glittering our hankering for a grilling session is coming to the surface, so thanks to BeefEater and Appliances Online the time for a BBQ is now. So sit back, plug in your iPod shuffle, flip a couple of snags and bask in the glow of KOKO, as we prepare the nation to watch our mighty Wallabies turn Twickenham into a temple of torture, whilst joyfully downing our foes that wear that silly rose. This week on The KOKO Show the lads are back after a much needed hiatus, filled with meditation retreats, prostate exams and day trips to their local VIP gaming facilities. All in all it is fair to say that they are back with a renewed energy for life and the sole mindset of delivering to you our beautiful fans a just above average entertainment experience. With this being our first episode back on the horse after a break we thought let's not burden our beautiful minds with the pressures of a special guest, but rather let’s see this wild beast of a ‘no guest nonsense’ show organically grow to thoroughly encompass both the joys of rugby union and the unrivalled shenanigans deep within us all. Thanks to MYER this show is able to remain on the air and this week they kept the lights on so we can give you a full preview of the upcoming spring/autumn tours where us the salty Southerners will once again pull the pants down of some Northern nobodys in dramatic Test Match fashion. In this episode we give you a full run sheet of how each team plans to ‘Schmidt it in’ north of the invisible line whilst also preparing the residence of the UK and Ireland for their impending arrival to the ‘Motherland’ for our highly anticipated KOKO Spring Tour brought to you by MIXR and the WRU. Plus, our sun kissed studs show off their exquisite summer ready loot from MYER in another masterful mixed bag Match Fit. We also sing our praises for the gorgeous humans at Easy Times Brewing Co for their delightfully delicious and drinkable drops and of course you can't have beer without a BBQ, so we give a massive thanks to BeefEater and AppliancesOnline for their continual support. So please raise your hands if you have missed us! Well we are back whether you like it or not and we are after only one thing and that is to be ‘Kings of the Noth’. As the Wallabies make tracks beyond the great divide to set the record straight, KOKO will be there every step of the way. As we have always said “When they Schmidt, we Schmidt, let’s all Schmidt it in together”. This week on The KOKO Show we say farewell to The Rugby Championship and we congratulate the Springboks on their first win in 5 years, as well as acknowledging their charmingly chunky trophy case. Soon it is our belief Rassie will need a rental space to stash all their hard earned and metabolically manifested hardware from across the globe. In order to put a neat little bow on this Southern Hemisphere slugfest of Test Match rugby we get the boys to grade all the nations in the TRC on how they performed in the past six games and where they stack up as they head north for their respective spring tours. Whilst we talk about our little friends north of the Equator, the KOKO Crew drop the dates and details for their hotly anticipated spring time tour, as the lads get ready to ruthlessly rumble with live shows in Cardiff, London, Edinburgh and Dublin. So please head to our website for all the necessary information, so you the punter can be part of this debaucherous descent on the UK and Ireland. As we take a little step back from the Test Match arena this week, we decided that there is no greater distraction from the ebbs and flows of footy than our next very special guest. If you ever need to fill a pod from whistle to whistle then this bloke is your answer, because when he gets tired talking about himself he has every expectation that you will pick up the baton and continue this self-centered lovefest. This larger than life loveable larrikin stopped by KOKO HQ for an unforgettable session and turned this once quaint and humble rugby show into the throbbing hog it has always wanted to be. So please put your hands together for this full time fucking legend and part time grumpy bastard. He is a big, bald, beautiful Brisbane boy and he is The KOKO Show’s Mt Everest, it is the one and only Mr Wendell Sailor. However, in between all these delightfully Dell infused discussions we find some time to show our major sponsor MYER some love with a masterfully manicured mixed bag ‘Match Fit’. Plus, we sucked back on a couple of lagers from Easy Times Beer Co and discussed our ‘Super Sizzlers’ for the week thanks to our dear friends at BeefEater and Appliances Online. So if you are in need for a little trip down ‘Degenerate Drive’ to really loosen the shackles and get amped for summer then this show is the one for you. This week on ‘The KOKO Match Review’ the boys are up bright and early nursing sore heads and weary eyes to give you ‘ra ra’ roundup like no other. We will fine-tooth comb our way through Bledisloe two, where the All Blacks were pushed to the edge early by a brave and willing Wallabies team in windy Wellington. After getting off to a fast start this week the Wallabies mounted significant pressure, but when push came to shove, the points came a lot easier for the big brutal boys from the land of the long white cloud. The papers and social clips will read that the Wallabies went down two to nil in the Bledisloe Cup, but it is clear to the naked eye that our ‘Gangsters of Gold’ are putting in a ‘Schmidt’ tonne effort and are progressing nicely. With the TRC on the line it would be reckless of The KOKO Crew not to address the neat little treat in Nelspruit between the Springboks and Pumas. Although the Pumas had a snowflake's chance in hell to hold the TRC title in their sassy South American hands, it was the banging Boks in the end that got up really big for Eben Etzebeth in his record breaking match. The ‘Green Goblins’ of gritty rugby proved way too strong at home for the pedestrian Pumas, claiming their much deserved place at the tippy top of The Rugby Championship. So if you are rising slowly this fine morning muttering the words “Sundays are for Swoop” then throw on your coziest crotchless pants and listen to our dulcet tones to get you really hot and heavy. This week on The KOKO Show we take a long hard look at round five of The Rugby Championship, a weekend that saw the giddy guys of gold push the All Blacks to the edge in Bledisloe one, as well as the World Champion blazing Boks getting pantsed by the prideful Pumas in a one point thriller. These games are broken down and picked apart by the KOKO Crew as if they were vultures on a sun baked Kudu carcass lying in the middle of the Serengeti. To help us through this delectable feast of footy filled fabulousness, we have called in the big guns. This fella is one of New Zealand's favourite and somewhat forgotten sons, In 2011 he was the first-five that went from whitebait fishing to World Cup winning. So, please put your hands together for the wholesome hairy Beaver, the Waikato Wizard and the only man to ooze sexy with the middle name Rexy, Mr Stephen Donald. In this week’s episode Beaver takes across the ditch to see what the classy Kiwis are saying about their side's sub-par performance over the weekend, whilst also lifting the lid on what appears to be the start of a footy fuelled national crisis in New Zealand. With all this sporting sensationalism hooked straight to our veins, the boys felt it was pertinent to spend a little time to show MYER our major sponsor some love with a perfectly fierce, flashy and spectacularly ‘sigma’ mixed bag ‘Match Fit. Plus, we go around again with our meaty mates from BeefEater, serving up some serious ‘Super Sizzlers’ and the lads issue a big thanks to our purveyor of mothers milk Easy Times Beer Co for quenching the needs of four thirsty men. On top of all this we roll out a couple of fan fables on the ‘Dear Drew’ hotline and we bring back a juicy ‘Northern Hemisphere Legends’ as the top-halfers go ham for footy once again. So get out your paints, don your smocks and dust off the old easel, we want you to paint us like one of your French girls, as this porous pod sinks to brand new lows. This week in the ‘KOKO Match Review’ the boys peel back the layers on the All Blacks Bledisloe Cup victory in Sydney and they also have a little gander at top of the TRC tussle between Argentina and the Springboks. In James Slipper’s record breaking 140th cap for his country, it was the men from the land of the long white cloud that started fast against the wasteful Wallabies, stacking on the 21 unanswered in the first 15 minutes. Despite a brave and gutsy comeback from our ‘Gladiators in Gold’ in the second half, the early All Black rampage had us Aussies pushing ‘Schmidt’ uphill. It might be another ‘L’ in the results column for the Wallabies, but the KOKO Crew discuss at length the strengths and pitfalls of this young Aussie side heading into game two in Wellington. The fellas also find a morsel time to touch on the ‘Big Boy’ bout between Argentina and South Africa. In a match where the stakes were sky high for both sides in relation to their TRC title hopes, but it was the punishing Pumas that went full alpha and said “hold my Malbec”, as they tightened up the TRC race heading into the final round in Nelspruit. With the Bled locked up at Razor’s ranch and the TRC crown still up for grabs, it is time for the men of KOKO to bathe in the delicacies and nuances of our beautiful game, please enjoy another dose of the ‘KOKO Match Review’. This week on The KOKO Show we set the scene for round five of the TRC, bigging up all things Bledisloe Cup and how the Wallabies can leave a hypothetical bag of flaming Schmidt on the All Black’s doorstep. Despite the Trans-Tasman tussle being the centerpiece this weekend, we also give the Argentina v South Africa title race match a little love, debating whether the prancing Pumas have what it takes at home to pull down some silky Springbok slacks. In order to enhance all this glorious rugby chat we have enlisted the help of one of the greatest Kiwis to ever do it. He might be small in stature but boy was he big in the ‘pain in the arse’ department, he is the puny punisher from Palmerston North and the Herculean halfback who broke Aussie hearts for fun. Please welcome our favourite little deep fried delicacy Mr Aaron ‘Nuggy’ Smith. On the show, Nuggy breaks down what it's like watching the All Blacks from afar, how he sees the Bledisloe Cup panning out and lifts the lid on the terrifying fact that his International playing days might not be over. With all this manic footy preparation surrounding the KOKO Crew we spare a little time to show MYER our major sponsor some love with a perfectly curated, elegantly electric and decadently drenched mixed bag ‘Match Fit. Plus, we welcome back our meaty mates from BeefEater and the lads issue a big thanks to our new beer/mothers milk provider Easy Times Beer Co out of Brisbane. On top of all this fiscal fanfare we fill this fallow week with three new spectacular segments which include, ‘Sundays are for Swoop’, ‘Get fit with Gits’ and ‘Dear Drew: The KOKO Hotline’. So sit back, lather yourself in coconut oil, sit in the sun and sizzle in the serenity of our podcasting putridness. They say there is nothing healthy about our show, but fuck me it is always a wild ride. It’s time for an all new Kick Offs and Kick Ons. This week on the KOKO Show we got down and dirty with Australian content royalty, Tom and Eddy from the Hello Sport Podcast were kind enough to open up their studio and minds to be used and abused by this poor excuse of a show. We talk about everything from the seasonal nature of rosé, the correlation between sports administration and dumpling consumption and the current standing of Union in the Australian sporting landscape. There is nothing quite like talking footy fables with new friends, all while sipping on a tangy little tequila. Plus, the boys break down the medium rare Argentinian ass whooping the Wallabies received over in Santa Fe, pulling no punches as they unpack why we sucked, how we sucked and who sucked the most. However, on the other side of every World Record pride pounding there sits the victor and boy didn’t those Argies turn up the heat on our Aussie lads, until they were done like a dinner. Alas, as Australians, we get back on the horse, we go again and we try not to let the All Blacks make it 68-27. Despite being an Australian show, it would be remiss of us not to debate the big dog duel between South Africa and New Zealand. It was the footy version of Foreman v Ali, Swoop v the elusive feature and Gits v saturated fats, minute to minute this grind of a match proved in the end why the Springboks are World Rugby’s benchmark. So if you are a Wallabies fan and you are feeling a little down, a touch blue and you are onto your third bottle of Savvy B, we just say don't sweat the small stuff, the nation always needs a tidy right after the Schmidt hits the fan. So pick up the baby wipes, arm yourselves with windex and press play on the KOKO Show. Let’s clean up Australian Rugby together! It’s time for Kick Offs and Kick Ons. The Wallabies fell a long way short in Santa Fe against Los Pumas, unable to double down on their gritty win in the rain last week. The injury embattled ‘Boys of Gold’ got completely and utterly outplayed by the hosts in the second forty, as the Pumas piled on the points for fun. Plus, we also touch on that Cape Town ‘crunch-a-thon’, as the lads from the land of the long white cloud lose two on the trot to the blistering Boks. In a week where Australia stands as one to congratulate James Slipper for tying George Gregan’s all-time Aussie caps record, the ‘KOKO Crew’ are here right after the action to give you some hot takes, juicy tips and tangy touchpoints all wrapped up in a comprehensively disappointing review of some toe tickling Test Footy. Despite the early start on our end, the lads promise they are only three bloody marys deep and they are ready to rock your rugby related senses all morning long. So if you are up at the crack of dawn buffing an chiseling that slinky summer bod or just soaking in some self-blame from a Sunday morning walk of shame, just forget the world, pop two nurofen and wash it down with a good swig of luke warm KOKO. This week on The KOKO Show we dive right back into the magical ecosystem that is The Rugby Championship season, nourishing our bodies with a gritty ‘Top Schmidt’ Wallabies win and nibbling on the big dog battle that saw the Springboks prevail over the All Blacks. With so much mouthwatering footy on the menu, it is only right that we pick both carcasses clean, like the analytical vultures we are. With the Wallabies well and truly back in the winners circle the lads bathe in the radiant aura of victory and boy it does it feel good. This episode Swoop was loud, Biv had his finger on the pulse, Gits was happy and Prof was Prof, giving you our beautiful fans a well rounded trip through the unforgiving yet always rewarding tundra that is International Rugby. Plus, to help us deliver this sensory overload for your eyes and ears, we were joined by one of the greatest to ever lace them up. He is the Joburg Joker, the tip-toeing tech tycoon and the only bloke that can make racing animals and planes for money look cool. It is of course our South African sidekick Mr Bryan Habana. With Spring now sprung and the mercury rising, the boys in partnership with our beautiful friends at MYER give our fashion focused fans a little taste of what to wear in warmer months in another mixed bag ‘Match Fit’. This week on the KOKO Show we are joined by a code hopping hooligan, he is one of the greatest to ever play on the wing in either code. This Fijian born flyer has a penchant for a good nap, carving up the dance floor to Usher and spear tackling Richie McCaw in a Test Match. So please put your hands together for the Sunny Bank sensation, a man who went bang at the Broncos and then titillated at the Tahs, he was alway the smoothest on the park and that's why they call him the Shark. It is the one and only Mr Lote Tuqiri. Plus, with this past week being a fallow weekend for footy, we turned our attention to bigging up the Wallabies trip to Argentina and the clash of the titans in South Africa when the All Blacks try to play spoiler against the Springboks. On top of all of that we take a little peek at the grassroots level as we preview the Shute Shield Final between Eastern Suburbs and Northern Suburbs in the NSW domestic competition.
