As Christians, we are told that we will encounter trials and tribulations, but many view peace as the absence of conflict. In fact peace, is defined by how one handles the conflict.
One of the many benefits Jesus Christ has to offer those who believe in him is a peace that passes all understanding, especially in times of need.
The body of Christ rewards it’s members with grace and sanctification. Being in the body strengthens our relationship with Jesus and God, and because Jesus is a man approved by God, those in the body are now approved by God.
Too often, when people are going through, they run to another man, another woman, or another thing looking for the solution to their troubles. None of these things can bring the needed and permanent answer; Jesus can.
To be the most effective light unto the world we can be, we must know the powers we have a right to through Jesus Christ.
What did you seek first after coming to Christ? Did you seek money, a career, a spouse? After confessing Christ as Lord and Savior, many Christians fail to seek the kingdom of God first because of their false reality believing that a simple confession will secure them a place in heaven.

As Christians, our peace should be one of the virtues we prioritize, for if we lose our peace, we lose our joy. Once we lose our joy, we lose our strength to fight against the Devil. Maintaining our peace requires us to consult the word of God and pray to God asking for deliverance.
A lot of people think that once they become Christian, their life will be smooth sailing. However, there is no development without our trials and tribulations that Jesus Christ has already overcome. When things seem to not go our way, we need to double down in our faith and trust in God more than our circumstances, and avoid double-mindedness. Trials and tribulations will come. It is not going to work perfectly all the time as we may see it, but we must never give in.
The path of righteousness is not meant to be easy. There will always be times when our abilities and knowledge fall short of what is required; therefore, we must humble ourselves and be willing to strive to achieve the perfect image of God through sacrifice and transformation.
