What comes to your mind when you think of service? Is it limited to a call you make to complain about your terrible experience? I’m advocating that Service is not limited to a place, a call, or group. Service is available to all. An attitude of service unlocks and welcomes freedom.
A brief reminder of your humanity. It’s not a secret: We are emotional beings! The customer or boss have robotic expectations for our output and it’s up to us to determine how we will deliver especially when our humanity gets in the way of that top performance.
Service brings out the best of us. How can you serve well if you do not sleep well? Eat well? Nor socialize? In order to serve well, you must take care of yourself.
