Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. Following an unforgettable experience in Space’s club room in 2011, R&K (Rodrigo & Kerol) found themselves entranced in electronic dance music and it soon became clear that this was a path they wanted to follow. Influenced by the likes of Luciano, Carl Cox, Masters at Work, Roger Sanchez, Simon Dunmore, Pete Tong and many more of the business’ long-standing major players; R&K pride themselves on their advocation of uplifting and energetic house music. Pulling influence from disco, techno and other pivotal genres in dance music history, the duo flawlessly delivers feel-good energy and a persona to their performances that engages you on a level that cannot be ignored. Having already supported the likes of Marshall Jefferson, David Morales, Cassy, Sonny Fodera, Mat.Joe and many more, R&K have had the privilege of gracing some of the best club spaces in the UK and further afield. With shows at Ministry of Sound, Egg London, Pikes, Es Paradis, Ibiza Rocks, Pacha, Brighton Music Conference, IMS Malta and more, the duo are steadily becoming a frequent feature on the European dance music scene, and with good reason. R&K are much more than your conventional music duo. They aim to connect with brands for change in the industry, supporting both ethical and positive opportunistic change in the way things are done in the music world.
