The gospel is the hope of the world. As we read the Scriptures, we see the overarching themes of God’s providence, power and provision to reconcile mankind and the created world to Himself through the Person and work of Jesus Christ. In light of this, we aim to be explicitly gospel-centered in all that we preach, teach and practice. Sermon audio and video from Redemption Hill Church, San Antonio, Texas

In Acts 4:23–31, the early church doesn’t panic in the face of threats—they pray with power and trust in the sovereignty of God. This passage shows us how the people of God find peace and boldness not by avoiding trials, but by resting in the One who controls all things.
In Acts 4:1–22, the early church faces its first real wave of opposition. After the miraculous healing of the lame man and Peter’s bold proclamation of the gospel, the religious leaders are furious—and they arrest Peter and John. But even under pressure, the apostles refuse to be silent. With courage rooted in the resurrection of Jesus, Peter declares that “there is salvation in no one else” (v. 12). Though the council threatens them, Peter and John stand firm: “We cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.”📖 This passage is a powerful reminder that the gospel will face resistance—but it cannot be stopped. The risen Christ continues to work through His people, and the boldness of the early church calls us to the same kind of faith today.…
In Acts 3:17–4:4, Peter boldly calls the people to repentance after the miraculous healing of the lame man, proclaiming that even in their ignorance, God’s plan of salvation through Jesus Christ has been fulfilled. He urges them to “repent and turn back” so that their sins may be blotted out and times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. But not everyone welcomes this good news. The religious leaders react with hostility, attempting to silence the apostles. Yet despite the opposition, the gospel moves forward in power—and the number of believers continues to grow.#Acts3 #Acts4 #CallToRepentance #JesusIsAlive #TimesOfRefreshing #BoldFaith #GospelProclamation #SpiritEmpowered #UnstoppableChurch #RepentAndBelieve #BiblicalPreaching #FaithInChrist #NewTestamentChurch #ReformedTheology #SalvationInJesus #JesusSaves #EarlyChurch #HopeInChrist #ChristianLivestream #GospelCentered…
