Brought to you by www.thesportsstuff.com, "The Crossover" is a combination of Knicks and Nets talk rolled into one disjointed package. Co-hosts Rusty & PMAC, two mad Aussie hoops junkies and fans of Nets and Knicks basketball respectively, give you game recaps, news and previews mixed in with smack-talk, random player abuse and sometimes even the odd bit of manlove. "The Crossover" is truly a no holds barred take on NY/NJ basketball.

With Ryan Saunders out and Chris Finch in, we will see how this new offense improves this team in the next few weeks and months ahead. Anthony Edwards couldn't hit the broad side of a barn most of the week, and we'll be losing Malik Beasley for 12 games, with the suspension being levied out. facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @TwolvesEx paladinoliv…

When you put the right lines together, amazing things can happen. Dean Evason putting Kaprizov, Rask and Zuccarello together, along with Ryan Hartman centering the third line, has made for some very effective and entertaining hockey! facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mwnprospects @bravethewild @mnwprospects paladinolive@yahoo.com…

Tom Brady with the excellent Buccaneers offense and defense pretty much dominated Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. Brady was outstanding, particularly in the first half, to help the Bucs build a big lead, while the powerful Tampa defense took care of business after that, versus a depleted Chiefs offensive line. The Vikin…

The Minnesota Wild are back, but are a shell of themselves at the moment, not that they weren't already thin at a certain spot to begin with... Luckily there are a number of prospects shining in the College world and overseas. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mnwprospects @bravethewild @mnwprospects paladinolive@yahoo.com…

The Timberwolves played somewhat competitive basketball this past week, making things interesting in multiple games where they were trailing by over 20 points. D'Angelo Russell hit a three to beat OKC, and Naz Reid had a huge week. Karl Anthony Towns finally returns after a tough battle with Covid-19, in a pretty entertaining match-up vs the Clippe…

The Minnesota Wild games are still postponed with Covid-19 protocols, so we have more time to talk about the prospects in the system, especially the Iowa Wild now. Mikki Koivu announced his retirement this week, we talk about that, and get to your other questions at #BTWMN on twitter! facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mnwprospects @b…

To be fair, one positive this week was Anthony Edwards officially becoming a starter and very much has looked the part, when we analyze some very important indicators with him in the starting lineup. Other than that though, we saw yet another epic collapse, this time vs San Antonio, which left many of us wondering, what in God's Name is D'Angelo do…

After an up and down week which involved a suspension for Kevin Fiala, injuries to Matt Dumba, Jared Spurgeon and Marcus Johansson, covid 19 has officially struck the Wild. The Wild's next four games have been postponed, so we will have a slightly different show this week and next, but there certainly isn't a shortage of things to talk about. faceb…

Losing and injuries are one thing, but obvious disinterest is another. No one wants to pile on, but D'Angelo Russell has lost many a Wolves fan the past month or so. As to what's really happening behind the scenes is something to stay tuned to, because things could get interesting in the next few weeks. facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @TwolvesEx…

The 2015 Draft is certainly looking better these days, with the emergence of Joel Ericksson Ek and Jordan Greenway. (Along with Kaprizov of course). Unfortunately, the absolute lack of a legitimate center continues to plague this club. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mnwprospects @bravethewild #btwmn paladinolive@yahoo.com…

The Kansas City Chiefs are back in the Super Bowl, with a fairly one sided win over Buffalo, while Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took care of business in Lambeau, despite Mike Evans nearly gave it all away. Will Aaron Rogers return to Green Bay? facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow paladinolive@yahoo.com…

Kirill Kaprizov is off to a very strong start to his NHL career, as he is showing that he is translating to the NHL level almost immediately. The Wild Power Play has struggled mightily, as the lack of true centers is still a glaring issue, but thankfully Minnesota has a 3-1 record to open the season. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota @bravethewil…

We enjoyed some high quality football this past week, including a controversial play or two and maybe the end of a legend's career. Next week's Championship Sunday should be spectacular, as there isn't a bad match up as any of the four remaining teams can win it all in my estimation. facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow paladinolive@yahoo.…

Another Vikings season comes to a close, and once again we're stuck somewhere at or near the middle, which does nobody any good. Many a fan wants to move on from Zimmer, but we can't yet... Many a fan wants to move on from Cousins, but we can't yet... Your host makes his postseason predictions, and of course gets to all your comments and thank you …

Timberwolves Basketball is finally back in full force! Of course after an extremely positive night, in which the Wolves won in Utah, Karl Anthony Towns is injured again, this time dislocating the same wrist he broke last year. Josh Okogie also is banged up, in what was called a cramp but looked more like a pulled hamstring. D'Angelo Russell continu…

The Minnesota Wild and the NHL are finally back again, at least in January! Much optimism surrounds this franchise, which has wallowed in mediocrity for so long. We finally have legitimate prospects, some of them already on the Minnesota Wild roster! We talk about every player going into the season, preview the NHL season standings and such, and wh…

The Vikings defense has been so depleted of key players, it's no wonder they can't stop the run during this lost year. Cousins was solid in the game, but once again couldn't get the pass protection when needed most. Cook was elite but this team cannot put all their eggs in his basket, because in the long run, that never works. facebook.com/purplema…

The Minnesota Timberwolves and NBA Season Preview is here! We look at the Wolves overall roster and hopes for the future, your host certainly sees reason for optimism. We then talk about who makes the playoffs in both the East and the West, who gets to the Conference Finals, the NBA Finals, and who is your likely 2020 NBA Champion! As always, we ge…

Dan Bailey was the first kicker to miss all four kicks in one game since 1961, he's a huge reason why the Vikings lost, but certainly not the only reason. The Vikings were undisciplined time and time again with repeat unnecessary hits, holds and interference which left many a Vikings fan more than miffed all day. facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purpl…

In a game that was filled with ups and downs for both sides, the much maligned Chad Beebe had a moment that would have crushed many a reserve player. When Beebe fumbled the punt with only 2:18 remaining in the game, it looked like all was lost and I was calling for Beebe's head. When given opportunities on what would be the game winning drive, Beeb…

The Timberwolves ended up taking Anthony Edwards first overall, but after that is when trades slowly starting slipping threw the cracks throughout the 2020 NBA Draft. The Wolves wound up reacquiring Ricky Rubio, making many a Timberwolves fan happy, while miffing a few others. Rosas also ended up re-signing Malik Beasley and traded for veteran Ed D…

BTW is back on the air for our annual Thanksgiving tradition, despite there being no NHL hockey going on at the moment. We get into the NHL Retro Reverse Jerseys, looking at creativity, or lack there of. We're all still waiting for yet another labor dispute to come together so we can have a start date for NHL Hockey again. facebook.com/bravethewild…

We just knew there would be a letdown at some point, and here it was. Kris Boyd made the kind of mistakes that often get players cut in the preseason. As for someone called Chris Jones, how he doesn't get cut after literally "passing up" on a play, I don't know who would. facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow paladinolive@yahoo.com…

Purple Mafia Episode 328: This game had a few very rare things occur, the Vikings winning on Monday night, a win in Chicago, and Kirk Cousins finally winning his first EVER Monday game, at age 32. Justin Jefferson continues to show that the Vikings struck gold in the draft pick acquired in the Stefon Diggs trade. facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purpl…

Dalvin Cook continued where he left off in Green Bay, with a 206 yard effort on the ground, not including 46 yards receiving to boot. The Vikings had their most dominating win of the season, over a Detroit team that has virtually given up after their annual head fake to start the season. facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow paladinolive@ya…

Dalvin Cook returned the Vikings line-up, and got right down to business. Cook went on the be the first Minnesota Viking to have a combined four touchdowns in a game since Ahmad Rashad in 1979! Kirk Cousins played a game manager role, and that proved once again to be the right decision, as the Vikings defeated the Packers in Lambeau for the first t…

Thats right.. Have trouble believing ANYTHING you see or read? Well you are onto something right there because most of it is FAKE NEWS and Propoganda.. But have no fear, independent media is HERE! Dave and Jaybo break it on down in one purge! Recorded on an iphone driving through Nashville en route to Clarksville MS while on the phone w Dave in FL.…

Kirk Cousins opened the game with a bad interception, it which he looked the fool. Most of the rest of the game was as ugly as it gets, Atlanta's defense was motivated, and Matt Ryan looked like the NFL MVP again throughout the game. facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow @paladinolive Audio Submissions: paladinolive@yahoo.com…

The Minnesota Vikings played a whale of a game in Seattle on SNF, but still found a way to lose. Russell Wilson is now 7-0 against the Vikings since joining the Seahawks in 2012, who they play seemingly every single year. facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow @paladinolive paladinolive@yahoo.com…

Minnesota Wild General Manager Bill Guerin is reshaping this roster, and clearly has a vision of adding character players to this team, without taking away the all important skill. Things couldn't have "fallen" better for Minnesota on draft night, when Marco Rossi, who could have gone as high as fourth overall, wound up still being there when Minne…

Justin Jefferson is showing he is a legitimate receiver in this league, Kirk Cousins continues to show that he has an arm, but not much else to go with the package. Luckily, the Vikings offense, lead by the big three of Cook, Thielen and Jefferson, was just enough to lead this club to it's first win of the season. The more than questionable coachin…

Kirk Cousins is not someone that can be counted on for a game winning drive. Sure he's done it before, but very few times, and very far between. These facts will forever miff Vikings fans, as to why he even got a top five QB contract. facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow Send Audio Submissions to: paladinolive@yahoo.com…

Here is the annual granddaddy episode of them all! We put a bow on the strange 2019-2020 Minnesota Wild season. We then discuss the future of the club, along with the recent changes and Brodin's extension. We end the show by emptying the #BTWMN mailbag with some awesome conversation from all of you! @bravethewild #BTWMN Questions/Comments @paladino…

Minnesota Wild GM Bill Guerin went back to work, making a trade for Nick Bjugstad, signing Jonas Brodin, and then making a surprising move, trading away the loved Eric Staal to Buffalo for Marcus Johansson. We get you up to date with a Playoffs and Predictions Part 3 as well! @bravethewild: #btwmn Questions/Comments @paladinolive @mnwprospects face…

Aaron Rogers and the Packers dominated the ball pretty much from start to finish, regardless if the Vikings managed to score 34 points in this game. There was a bad vibe coming into this game, with Danielle Hunter out at least three weeks, along with rookies in the secondary, including other very significant losses, and it showed. facebook.com/purp…

We're back for yet another Minnesota Vikings and NFL season in 2020, despite the ongoing this and that, which we've heard about at nauseam the entire calendar year. We go over the 53 man roster, including the cuts, of which were a few surprises. We then preview the NFL in general, and eventually come up with this year's pick of who will ultimately …

Your host is back to review the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and preview the Conference Final Rounds. We talk about the crazy oddities and eerie similarities of three out the four series we are reviewing. Your host also waxes nostalgic again, and talks a bit about the recent Minnesota Wild news since the last show. facebook.com/braveth…

The Minnesota Timbewolves really did get the number one pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, but of course there is no consensus number one guy. That's why we have to discuss all the different possible scenarios, regarding who to take, or who to trade for, or what have you. This episode is wall to wall Wolves draft, we get to your comments as well! facebook…

Your host thought he would jump behind the mic in a spur of the moment fashion and give his thoughts on the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs along with his predictions for the conference semifinals match ups, which look pretty darn good! facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota @bravethewild: Questions/Comments #btwmn @mnwprospects paladinolive@y…
