2000, 2001 -- The Years That Forever Changed NASCAR is a 10-episode documentary podcast series that takes listeners inside two of the most difficult seasons NASCAR has ever faced. You'll be introduced to five drivers whose fatal accidents forever changed the sport, and its stance on safety. We'll remember the 2001 Daytona 500, the controversies that raged before and after that momentous event and its legacy 20 years later.

A look at the events and culture of the (relatively) recent past -- twenty, or sometimes thirty, years ago from the day of posting. The 1980s. The 1990s. People. Society. Books, movies, television and video games. Crime and justice. War and disasters. It's all here, seen through the lens of my own memory. Learn or remember about days not so long gone, and see how what happened then affects us today -- all in less than ten minutes per episode.

The podcast is sponsored by Bolia. The Next 20 Years is a podcast made in collaboration with Danish design company Bolia about how the world as we know it is going to change in the next 20 years. We have invited profiles from around the globe to offer their take on what the future holds. They will all challenge the way you think about the world and inspire you to a different understanding of yourself, of how you live, work, eat and interact with the world.
