Hi Babes! Well, this episode is coming out late, because I, like most Americans last night was on an emotional rollercoaster and couldn't deal with finishing the episode. So here we are, Wednesday morning, still figuring out what's going on. It felt completely wrong to NOT talk about the election as it at the forefront of everyone's mind. So I do spend the first 8 minutes of this episode doing just that. As you know from listening to me for almost two years, I am liberal, so no surprises there! But I try to share in a way that would be helpful, no matter your political ideology...What I talk about today is why shame is not a social justice tool (no matter what side you're on), how to use your angst to make great work and the best way to approach people who are different than you...Why hope is always available as long as we're alive!

After those first 8 minutes I take a deep dive into some of the weird multi-layered feelings I've been having lately about love and life. How I've been having romantic feelings for multiple people, while also knowing none of them are actually right for me and thinking there's someone else out there who IS right for me, but also being scared that he (mystery man) doesn't actually exist. As I've been hacking through these feelings with my emotional toolkit (therapy, writing, meditation, etc.), I couldn't help but start wonder: 'Why THE F does no one talk about how possible it is to feel multiple, seemingly opposing feelings at once?' So I talk about that here.
