Kate Harkins migrated from Ireland to Australia in 1955 as a 16 year old. We sit down and talk about all of her life challenges from then until now as an 82 year old. Most notably at the age of 70 she was told that she had 2 lumps in her breast which would require a mastectomy. Kate has also had 2 major surgeries to repair blockages in her subclavian and corotic arteries. Despite all of these set backs, Kate believes the most important attribute we can have in life is to have a strong, positive attitude.
