It's the most wonderful time of the year. Pride Month is in full swing and we're here to soak up every rainbow-drenched drop. Literally. This year, we get the party started right with "This Hell," the latest banger from acclaimed pop artist Rina Sawayama, an affirmational queer anthem that goes down best with Pedro's signature Rainbow Shot. Plus we take the NSFW history of disco head-on, throw massive shade on all the corporate Pride events begging for your dollars, and reveal what the heck a Nancy Reagan stamp has to do with Pride anyway.
But it wouldn't be Century Club if we didn't keep the hits coming with a special musical guest. LA electropop singer-songwriter Grace Kay drop by the pod to play an exclusive stripped version of her latest single "overgrown." She has a gift for producing refined and punchy songs, with lush vocal textures and nostalgic lyrics that will have you crying on the train while listening to Fleetwood Mac. A Rainbow Shot
- 0.5 oz Grenadine
- 6 oz Orange Juice
- 5 oz Silver Rum
- 0.5 oz Blue Curaçao
Pour granadine into shaker. Fill shaker with ice. Simultaneously pour juice and rum over ice. Cover shaker with strainer. Add Blue Curaçao over strainer and immediately begin pouring into shot glasses. (Fills 8 shots).
