Diabetes is an autoimmune disease that is pervasive in our society, but are you prepared for clients and students who are coming in to your classes or sessions with that diagnosis?

In this episode of The Yoga Pro Podcast, Evan Soroka joins us to share her experience of navigating diabetes, and how we as yoga professionals can safely provide yoga as an adjunct care.

Evan is a C-IAYT and E-RYT 500, and is the founder of Soroka Yoga Therapy in Aspen, Colorado. She wrote Yoga Therapy for Diabetes and is a contributor to Yoga Journal, Yoga International, and Yoga Therapy Today Magazines. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in her teens and chronic musculoskeletal issues throughout her life, Evan practices and teaches yoga as a health-providing tool.
