WINNING THE BATTLE: Pray On All Occasions
Manage episode 367151785 series 2872941
Praying on all occasions can be hard but always worthwhile. In this episode you will find out how easy it is to pray, why we often forget to utilise this amazing offer from God (he is always listening!) and why it is good for us to pray on all occasions.
Today's Questions:
- How can you help yourself to get into better praying habits?
- When the war is happening, whose team would you like to be on and if you said God’s team, what can you do that might help you to remain in God’s team?

Here are the bible verses quoted in today's episode:
Bible Passage: Ephesians 6:14-17
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
Bible Passage: Hebrews 12:2-3
We must keep our eyes on Jesus, who leads us and makes our faith complete. He endured the shame of being nailed to a cross, because he knew later on he would be glad he did. Now he is seated at the right side of God's throne! So keep your mind on Jesus, who put up with many insults from sinners. Then you won't get discouraged and give up.
Bible Passage: 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Never stop praying.
Bible Passage: Philippians 4:6
Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God.
