TODAY'S ACTION:

One of our very most favorite organizations in Texas, the Texas Freedom Network, is teaming up tonight with one of our favorite humans (actually she is a human disco ball), Erica Nix.
The Texas Freedom Network is going to tell us their plan to flip the Texas State Board of Education -- the body that is the reason why Texas schools teach some weird stuff (the number of clergy who signed the Declaration of Independence) and leave out some important stuff (like Helen Keller, Hillary Clinton, and the LGBTQIA community). Here is a fascinating look at the difference between textbooks in Texas and California.
Erica Nix is a body-positivity ambassador and beaming ray of light who teaches Richard Simmons-inspired workout classes and commits random acts of creative activism.
