Week 13 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2021 season is now in the books as the Eagles once again traveled to MetLife Stadium and beat the New York Jets by a score of 33-18. The Eagles are now 6-7 on this developmental season, and there are likely to now be questions about the quarterback position as backup QB Gardner Minshew played a fantastic game from the pocket.
Minshew had an almost perfect game. However, his success should be ess about him, and more about how poorly Jalen Hurts has performed as a passer this season for this Eagles offense. The rushing attack was also on fire as the Eagles put up 185 yards on the ground thanks to Miles Sanders' 120 yards on 24 carries.
Even though the Eagles defense held this Jets team to 18 points, the defensive line was having trouble early in this game getting pressure on a terrible offensive line, which is becoming more of a theme from week to week. However, the defense, overall, did the job they were supposed to do.
As always, we gave our takeaways, dove into the stats, and graded coaches.
