Christy sits down with James Leonard, from The Two Norries Podcast, for a hard hitting conversation on the challenges of drug addiction and its impact on your mental health. James is very open and honest about his own battles with Heroin and gives a fascinating insight into the life of an addict. This is definitely an episode you don't want to miss!
James is from Cork City’s northside and spent over ten years in addiction which led him to prison & hospital many times. James finally got sober in 2013 and has spent the last six years in education. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Youth & Community Work, a Master’s Degree in Criminology and is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Sociology & Criminology, University College Cork. His research interests include drug use, drug policy, desistance and related topics.
