144. Consistency and diversity- Self Care Through a Neurodivergent Lens: Beth Attard on Self Care with Herbs
Manage episode 501305452 series 3611679
Beth Attard is a degree qualified naturopathic herbalist with a core passion for supporting women with ADHD, gut issues and/or hormone imbalances.
During this chat Beth shares how a series of nudges from the universe and interactions with many interesting plant people led her to a career as a Naturopathic Herbalist.
We chat about her time travelling through Canada , Thailand and South America, culminating in a permaculture immersion where she learnt about growing and making herbal medicines.
Beth generously shares her wisdom around keeping self care at the forefront when a neurodivergent brain often struggles with consistency and thrives on variety. Her practical tips and wisdom range from ways to increase nutrient density when attached to the 'beige' diet, the importance of movement in maintaining body awareness and the many many herbs that have helped her and her clients along the way.
