John 13:35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
Today, love has been distorted to mean lust and pleasure. And that is not what Jesus is referring to. He is referring to brotherly love, the type of love you have for a family member. The type of love that is becoming extinct in our world today. Because when you truly love a brother or a family member you correct them when they are failing to keep the morals and values that the family stands for. Satan is convincing people that loving your family is to tolerate whatever they feel, say, do and desire. That is not love, that is neglect and abandonment.
The brotherly love Jesus is referring to will serve as a beacon of light to the world because it will point people to the family of God.
