It was bad enough that the NY Gov. was embroiled in a nursing home scandal that left thousands of New Yorkers without loved ones. There was an elaborate cover-up, a much-needed investigation, and continued denials of wrongdoing. While the governor was on CNN laughing with his brother, thousands lost their family. He was awarded an Emmy, wrote a celebrated book on management, all the while he was a failure.

Of course, he has no issues with his actions it seems. Now, seven women have accused the governor of sexual harassment and misconduct. He has argued he is innocent and refused to resign. He said this is politics and reckless. He never felt that way before. He never felt bad about pushing for Trump to resign or for Kavanaugh to be blocked. Things are different now that it is him.

Many have come out and called for his resignation. What is sad is that it took this long. It wasn't just after one or two women accused the governor. It took 6 for the general assembly in New York to decide they should consider impeachment. It took 7 for their US Representatives and Senators to say he should resign. What happened to believe all women?

Rather than resigning and saving what dignity he had, Cuomo says he deserves to stay in place. He argues he was elected and he should not leave. There appears no way for Cuomo to escape this situation. It's not like the Democrats are not ready with another radical to take his place. It's time for New York to send in the replacements.
