"You are in a battle ... whether you believe it or not, and your heart is the battlefield."
There are three enemies that fight us: 1- Satan 2- The body and The world: which is the lust of the flesh - the lust of the eyes - and the pride of life
To enjoy victory there are two things:
1- You must resist the devil (James 4: 7) “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you''
2 - Do not give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27), place here means any room or a way or a path.
When there is bitter jealousy in your heart and you do not acknowledge it or judge it .. you give place to the enemy.
The decision is up to you. The enemies are around you, but you have the choice, to fight or to give up. In Hebrews 12: 4-5, the Bible tells us: You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. 5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons. My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him.
