I’ve been captivated by Irish model Alison Canavan’s story for years. She’s an ex-Ford international supermodel, a single mum who suffered from Post Natal Depression, and she changed her life around starting with Meditation and Gratitude. She’s now an Author, Speaker, Dream Builder and Mindfulness Coach. I wanted to learn more about how she found meditation and what it’s done for her life.

This conversation ended up going much deeper into bigger spiritual beliefs, I was so excited to chat to someone with the same beliefs as me!

Alison Canavan is a UCLA-trained Mindfulness Facilitator from The Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Human Behaviour. She runs a successful private practice as a Health and Wellness coach and delivers motivational talks on health and wellbeing, all over the world, specialising in behaviour change, mental health, addiction and improving your mindset.

She is also an author of the book: Minding Mum and has lectured in Trinity College on the module of Motherhood and Mental Health.

About Sarah:
Sarah is an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or Tapping Practitioner based in the UK but originally from Dublin, Ireland. After the loss of her daughter Alice, November 2014, and while suffering from severe PTSD she found herself pregnant again. Although elated she was also extremely anxious. This led her to seek help by a local EFT Practitioner. This technique completely transformed her life and is now dedicated to supporting as many people as possible let go of their trauma, grief, limiting beliefs and negative emotions, so they can live a joy filled life.
