Surviving Empathy

Hey guys, I'm on hiatus right now to relax, recenter, and to perfect the brand and show for you guys. I'm really trying to make this more fun and useful by making it more community friendly, interactive and more festive with newsletters, a merch store, and more positive and uplifting content, and all kinds of new things coming down the line! But I felt compelled to address the rescinding of Roe v Wade by the Supreme Court and to explain it in a way that everyone can better understand. I talk about the importance of keeping our institutions in check and the need for political engagement and political literacy in complex and sometimes treacherous times, when it's easy to tune out for selfcare and sanity!
As a strong realized empath and former soldier, I have always tried to advocate for the greater good. But as my condition worsens, I need you guys to understand why as a partially disabled proud guy with a long background of challenging careers, why I chose to do this podcast, and why it's so darn important that you guys help us to get over the hump, to get big enough to get sponsors, and how your small dollar donations are the super necessary morale boost we so urgently need right now! How just your pocket change will make the difference between growth and feeling terrific or for us going bust and losing all hope. We're trying to grow into a super-mega awesome resource, movement, and festive but mighty advocacy community for all people struggling in life, not just for empaths or people with minor mental health snags. But all people looking for kindness, honesty, decency, and humor by joining our Empath Tribe. You have a friend in us, all we ask is you help us grow to our fullest potential! Without your help, we're screwed! We're not looking for a handout but a hand up!
As an army vet and former EMT I understand the need to be strong, independent, and to have character, duty, honor, decency, and dignity in our culture. As an intuitive empath I understand implicitly the struggle and emotional hardships in this harsh life for people, and that is why we offer our advice, sensitivity, and support to all people going through it. We're here to offer our friendship and support. To be a guiding, caring hand but also to have a strong sense of self and fairness, to know how to live in these turbulent and complicated times. To serve as an agent of good, a source promoting decency and advocating for what's right, sane, and best practices in this world for regular folks. At the end of the day, Rebecca and I aren't perfect. We don't try to sell ourselves as perfect or try to dupe people into some cult of personality celebrity public figure thing. We're just Bry and Rebecca, a couple of down-to-earth decent folks trying to find our people, those good people out there like us with no ulterior motives or agendas, to have a small but tight-knit kind community who helps each other.
To find peace, comfort, clarity, purpose, validation, strength, empowerment, and good cheer in times that often feel very alone, uptight, serious and unkind. We're not motivated by politics or religion, but by a very real spiritual and emotional desire to be the change the world needs. Not because we're so darn perfect, but because energy is intention, and we intend to make the best of ourselves and this life with the best of you! Please help us get there! Please don't leave it up to somebody else who will also just leave it up to somebody else. We must take charge of our happiness by helping one another and assisting those good people doing good work in our culture and society! Thanks for being a part of our little Empath Tribe!
