Oh my goodness, how much shit is out there from health enthusiasts, telling mums they have the secret for how to get their bodies back? Hold on a second, back from where exactly? We don't get to switch bodies for a minute while we transition into motherhood, and then just bounce our souls right back into our pre-mum bods. How are we forgetting that our bodies have just performed an astoundlingly challenging feat of giving birth, or that our minds have are now adapting to a completely new way of looking at the world? It would make no sense to go back to the way we were.
In this episode, Tilda and Sarah debunk the idea that who we are as mothers is not good enough - that something is missing. They get into the nitty gritty of what ACTUALLY goes on when we become mothers, and help you all to breathe a sigh of relief and acceptance so that you can flourish into who you are NOW.
