Obtaining Peace in the Present by Reaching Back to the Past with DJ Lee, a writer, teacher, regents professor in the English Department at Washington State University and the author of the incredible book - REMOTE - Finding Home in the Bitterroots, a self discovery journey where DJ learns how to embrace the land and her past. DJ co-created a creative placemaking workshop I attended here in Hamilton, MT after which I read Remote. I could NOT put the book down! . Her award-winning work has appeared in more than 40 magazines and anthologies.
