Melanie Joy is a writer, women's coach, sound healer, mother, and beautiful teacher. In her recent book, Descent to Wholeness, Melanie breathes a fiery breath of perspective into the stages of the archetypal story of a Woman's life through the journey of her own memoirs. From external affairs in the realms of a patriarchal society to the internal journey back into the cave of her body.

In this episode, she introduces the Heroine's Journey - a process of growth and independence that every woman alive goes through and how it is different from a Hero’s journey. She broke different terms that have influenced the way leadership works like Patriarchy and Matriarchy, feminine energy and Masculine energy, etc. She also explained the term Mature Feminine Leadership by giving several examples.

After saying no to living in the masculine any longer, Melanie is brought back into her Feminine power as she shares her vulnerable truth through various healing modalities such as somatic body experiences and transformational plant medicines.
