Self-Care For The Soul

How do you describe yourself? What is your identity?

Typically we answer based on the bodies we are in, family, relationships, the purpose we serve. I am a single American female, daughter, sister, youngest of six children, spiritual healing practitioner, transformational program facilitator, teacher, student.

Thomas Aquinas said, “The things we love tell us who we are.”

The things we love and do not love, our life experiences and chosen paths all give us clues as to who we are. They point to an identity. The true identity goes deeper.

Deep within your heart, your soul, your spirit, who are you? How do you identify?

We are moving into an era of Universal Harmony where we will identify less with the physical body or familial and social constructs. We have the opportunity to identify based on the heart, soul, and spirit. Only then can we truly live in unconditional love and compassion.

In this week’s Meditation & Healing Circle, we travel deeper into the heart where the outer constructs that define us melt away and we can see ourselves beyond body, age, family, career, money, home, location – and know ourselves as heart and soul.
