I am your host, Sheldon Prime is So the safety consultant podcast is show where I teach you the business of being a safety consultant and also um your America's safety consultant. So what we're gonna do today is we're going to do lessons learned and these lessons learned are specifically related to the most recent episode. Uh this was my interview that I did with the global VHS professionals and this one was just really good for me. I've worked with them a little bit in the past and I've always like doing international work. Those that know me know that I have traveled extensively international. I've been a Haiti police Portugal France. England been to Zaire, which is now the Republic of Congo. But when I was there was still Zaire kenya, but as a business person, I love reaching out to the actual global community still. So when I heard a global G. H. S. I was like Arian, I'm in your E. H. Excuse me as a man. So it was really good talking to Eddie and mary and getting an idea of a couple of things that that globally I did not think of, so here is what I'm going to do and this is the first episode of lesson warned and this is going to be a short, so the lesson that I learned from one of the things that was mentioned in our episode was this that was pretty cool. I didn't really understand it at first. I well nothing I didn't understand as much as it was a consideration. But if someone internationally has to actually get online to do any activity or function for self improvement or even safety and health knowledge, they're going to be using certain hours or minutes in order to participate. So if I'm on the other end of that and I'm used to having a whole bunch of minutes and there's no kind of limitation in the U. S. Uh With certain plans then I might be more mindful of how long I do my actual sessions. So maybe I shouldn't be doing sessions that are going to last 23 days. So now maybe I might have to do maybe our session and then that might include more people globally because they're using their hard earned minutes which is money. So that was a big takeaway. It's a practical thing and I know practical things sometimes is just epiphany to me because I am in a different situation where I live and by the things that are afforded to me but to someone else or like yeah yeah that's no brainer. So I just A particularly on that one. Another thing that was a big take away from me on this one was in listening to the episode and if you did not then you go ahead and subscribe now so that you could get notification when new episodes come out. But then go to safety consultant podcast dot com and then go ahead and listen to that episode again. And that's the one with the Global HS. So nothing they took away from that interview. And truly, I am definitely aware of some of the different nuances between OSHA and some of the other regulatory agencies. But it seems to me that us, OSHA is almost like a like universally accepted as a baseline standard. I've always taught it as being the graduating high school with the D you get away, you'll actually get your degree, you could go to college but you may not be going to Harvard. I said that's how I always usually like equate that to it. So honestly when I heard about how people are thinking about that I was like very well that makes sense because you know the U. S. And the way that we portray ourselves is that we're leaders in such fields. So it does seem like it would be a nice baseline. So those are two quick take a legs. Um I'm going to do this in the future and I love your inputs or whenever I am doing an interview, just know that beginning that day, I need to hear from you at Sheldon and Sheldon promised Icom and you give me your take aways from that actual episode.
