Our guest on the podcast this week is my good friend Dorothy Siminovitch, PhD and Master Certified Coach and I have to tell you she is one of the best coaches I know. Dorothy is an international coach, consultant, speaker, and author.

She is founder of the ICF approved Gestalt Coaching Program-Istanbul, and serves as Director of Training and faculty. Dorothy specializes in coaching for signature presence, leadership peak performance, overcoming derailment, and working with high performance leaders, groups, and teams. Her book, A Gestalt Coaching Primer: The Path Toward Awareness IQ, is a core text for practiced coaches and novices alike.

Listen in as we discuss how our capacity for awareness is embedded into everything we do as humans, and when we become aware of something but don’t take action on it, we will later have regret.

Dorothy brings forward a deep wisdom grounded in Gestalt theory, yet she has now travelled beyond, to inspire us to expand our awareness individually and collectively. She quietly encourages us to live within the rhythms of of our lives, to listen deeply to our own interior and be intentional about how we show up and what we evoke in others. Her message is simple yet profound, she speaks of our very human journey of becoming , how we can evolve together as we navigate this moment in time, and use our essential humanness reconnect to the currency of humanity on the workplace.

I was left feeling inspired by Dorothy’s questions and her journey through life, especially as she speaks to what matters most to her moving forward. She shares stories and quotes that we can all learn to live by.

If you’re a coach or consultant who works with people, or just someone interested in fulfilling their potential then I suspect you will learn a lot from Dorothy, especially as you tap into your own capacity to dream, to strengthen your presence and use your life in positive ways to serve the world.
