Up Next, if you Love your car and I mean really love your car like sexually love your car this is the review for you because Retro Blood is talking all about “Christine”Join James Kline and J. A Alison as we rent out our garage to some nerd kid bring in his rust bucket.
We start off with some quick thoughts on the film and of course our annual beer reviews.Then we get into our weekly History Segment where we talk about what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal around the movie release date December 9, 1983. In Pro Wrestling we talk World Class from Texas with their weekly Tv show from December 10, 1983.
In Metal we talk about the band Accept and their album “Balls to the Wall” we talk about the history of Accept and what they sound like.
Then we get into Who book this Shit!!
We talked about the director John Carpenter and why he took this project on.
We talked about Stephen King and his book “Christine” and how popular Stephen King was at this time.
We talk about the 1958 Plymouth Fury series and why it wasn’t popular.
We talk Richard Kobritz green lit this movie and why he picked this movie over “Cujo”
We talk Kevin Beacon almost being in this film and we talk some backstory on the cast. Then we get into the full review with Arine and him going from zero to bad ass and the love he gains for his car. We talk about the great music from this film. We talk crouch grabbing? We talk Buddy and his crew of Bullies, and we try to figure out what was the purpose of the Blond Female Charter Roseanne.
